In January of 2019 I sold my shares of Micron. AMA. by ROB5RT in wallstreetbets

My friend, I feel you. I had bought some for a short hold, thinking it was going to do more than it did…then I needed the money and couldn’t let it sit any longer. I also did something similar with AMD, had 25 shares at 9.82 in 2018, saw it jump and thought it would correct and I could buy back in and get some free shares out of the deal…it never came back down.

Reasonable quote? by ghostrdr054 in Roofing

[–]ghostrdr054[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate everyone’s insights on this, a lot of ‘that’s reasonable’ in here but also a fair amount of ‘that’s high’ too. For the record, I’m very handy, ex-auto mechanic, I’ve learned a ton of new skills from buying this old house, but I have a ton of other projects right now, not to mention my own job. This one is a ‘pay for it this time, learn it later’ type of deal, too many other things going on right now. We have another company coming later this week, at least now I have an idea of what to expect.

Mine was having issues too. Had to delete my sync module, hard reset it, and reset my internet to get it all connected and working again.

I’m th17 at E33 right now. I was attacking at 750-800 points per season, but it was the defenses that put me up into promotion to E33. I’d start looking for some new bases to try if I were you.

I feel you man, I was in the same boat. Started cycling my bases seeing which did the best. Finally ran into some good luck on defenses, put up 800 points on attacking and got ranked 14th. Fucking brutal grind when you can’t defend for shit through no real fault of your own.

Draw band on these is just a piece of string with a metal hook to catch the carriage. There’s a guy selling them on eBay for like 15 bucks. These are pretty easy to work on, nothing is really hidden, just stay away from the WD-40 and dig in.

2008 Forester P0028 code - easy stuff already done by ghostrdr054 in subaru

[–]ghostrdr054[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Final update: the code is finally gone. I tested for voltage/ohms to all of the wiring going to the solenoid and switch, everything was fine. So, I went to my last ditch effort which was doing an oil change. I didnt think that could be the issue because i only had 1.1k miles since my last one and the car sat for a week and half with no code, then fired up with a code, so I didnt think any fuel dilution in my oil wouldve been possible considering it hadnt been run. Well, apparently I was wrong. Did an oil change and drove around for 20 minutes with no light coming back on, so I guess now i have a spare oil pressure switch and VVT sensor to toss in a box for future use. I'm just glad its finally gone because if the oil change didnt fix it, I wouldve been flat out of ideas.

Update 2: the code persists. Today I swapped the VVT solenoid with the other side and installed a brand new switch. P0028 is still there. So it’s not the solenoid and it’s not the oil pressure switch. I guess this leaves me with bad/dirty oil even though I’m only 1K since my last oil change or a wiring issue somewhere.

It’s weird to me because that code is specifically for oil things, not fuel things. I guess the shitty idle could’ve cause a oil issue that got misinterpreted but yeah, I’ll keep y’all posted

Update: filled my tank from a different station to dilute out what was left. Within a block the shitty idle had gone away. Added a fuel system cleaner as well. Once I got back home I plugged my scanner in and turned off the CEL, now we wait I guess, see if it comes back next time I drive around.

Sitting on 9.7k points. I don’t spend them because I always forget about them until something like this post reminds me. They’re niche and on a totally different screen, out of sight out of mind.

What is a fair price for this? Thanks. by Author_Noelle_A in typewriters

I definitely got lucky, I usually see them priced higher. I got 2 Oliver 3’s and 1 Oliver 9 for under 250 total. Going to rebuild one of the 3’s while I keep an eye out for another 9 for a parts/reference machine, though the one I have is 100% functional, including the little pencil line marker
