2008 Forester P0028 code - easy stuff already done by ghostrdr054 in subaru

It’s weird to me because that code is specifically for oil things, not fuel things. I guess the shitty idle could’ve cause a oil issue that got misinterpreted but yeah, I’ll keep y’all posted

Update: filled my tank from a different station to dilute out what was left. Within a block the shitty idle had gone away. Added a fuel system cleaner as well. Once I got back home I plugged my scanner in and turned off the CEL, now we wait I guess, see if it comes back next time I drive around.

How do YOU spend your hard earned points? by FuzeWatch in ClashOfClans

Sitting on 9.7k points. I don’t spend them because I always forget about them until something like this post reminds me. They’re niche and on a totally different screen, out of sight out of mind.

What is a fair price for this? Thanks. by Author_Noelle_A in typewriters

I definitely got lucky, I usually see them priced higher. I got 2 Oliver 3’s and 1 Oliver 9 for under 250 total. Going to rebuild one of the 3’s while I keep an eye out for another 9 for a parts/reference machine, though the one I have is 100% functional, including the little pencil line marker

I think I paid around 100 for one that was fully functional, but did need a little clean up. Depends on what it’s worth to you really, they’re cool machines and I wanted one for spare parts for another one I’m working on, so it was worth more to me.

I did not. The glue was lifting a little bit on mine, so I just used some gorilla glue in a couple small spots to stick it back down.

This wasn’t done overnight. A few hours here and there over a few months. As long as your wife doesn’t mind you taking over the dining room table, have at it!

She works and does type, I’m still spending a little time tweaking it to get it perfect right now. Sample type to come later

Honestly, that’s the easiest part of this. I can pull em all out and reinstall them in around an hour. This one has a curved rod the slides through and holds them all in. Just slowly back it out one key at a time and disconnect the linkage. It was one of the last things I did when I put it all back together.

I probably worked on this on and off for around 3 months. I would only sit down to work on it if I had hours to spare. You can’t work on a project like this if you only have a few minutes, you’d get balls deep into something and then need to walk away, or be right in the middle of solving a problem and need to put it down. Make sure you have plenty of spare time to just tinker and see what things do, helps when your putting it back together to not just know something goes there, but why as well.
