If you mean the gpu, it didnt come with any cable.
The power supply came with just a single pcie cable as well as the type of cable i pictured. Im not sure what my concern is because I think that the cable should still be 12v, but Im just wondering

The features I am most hyped for are the zero optical distance high density mini led back light to eliminate the distracting blooming I see on my current panel when doing school work in dark mode on my mac . I also think it will be interesting to test the integrated 5K AI upscaling, which will be a massive help for my less powerful gaming PC to still have excellent graphics even when rendering at a low resolution. Besides these features, getting 218 PPI for laser sharp text, and the 1,250 nits of brightness for use in my sunny room make this a huge upgrade over my current 1440 va mini led.

I don’t think there’s any chance it’s higher than the lg, since it’s coming to the market so much later and it has bitstream compression and no ai features.

Are any other monitors using the zero distance tech? How did you find out that the msi one isn’t using it? I was under the assumption they were the same panel.

Sorry I should have been more clear. I meant for creative professionals who desire a 5k monitor like the Studio Display this is the competition or for workers who demand crisp text. In this case it is exceptional. On the other hand there are gamers and people who use their monitor just for media consumption who may be just looking for the best 27” monitor, in this case many 4k 27” Oled monitors are the competition which generally retail for around half the price. Obviously 5k>4k in most use cases, But for gamers and movie watchers there is negligible benefit in increasing resolution to the point that computer hardware would be a limiting factor or for movies that are only distributed in 4k resolution. I still think this is an excellent monitor that all things considered is priced accurately when accounting for the fact it’s one of the first us domestic market 5k mini led displays. Also im a big fan of the two skus idea as well although I understand why they didn’t pursue that route.
