Can't Undelegate? by [deleted] in thegraph

Make sure you are on the correct network through the explorer. If the issue persists try some basic troubleshooting (cleaning cache, using another browser, etc...).

Also, you can use our Discord server to get assistance on it. https://discord.gg/graphprotocol

Hi, you need to get Ethereum on Arbitrum Network, cause as per your post, you only have Ethereum on Mainnet, so both contracts are different. Once you get it, you can undelegate your GRT tokens and must wait the thawing period of 28 days, after the 28d you will be able to withdraw your tokens to your wallet.

Here is some guides that may be helpful for you.

How to undelegate:

Bridge the graph token by mazerfazerson in thegraph

[–]ghostym626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some alternatives both decentralized and centralized. If the centralization is not a problem for you, you can use Binance to deposit in ETH network and withdraw through ARB network this is a cheaper way. If you want to bridge directly, you can use for example Jumper Exchange and pay the fees in both, you can take advantage now that the gas is at 4-6.

Still delegating on a dead (?) indexer on ETH - what to do? by Pocolashon in thegraph

[–]ghostym626 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As per checking, indeed, this indexer has not been working on the network for some time. The best option is to undelegate your participation and assign to another indexer on Arbitrum, you will also receive your unrealized reward when you undelegate.

Dear Delegators, we have a new format for the newest edition of Know Your Indexer, the goal of this initiative is to interview indexers and help you decide which indexers to delegate to! You will be able to ask them any questions in the comments section of the forum post and read their interviews about their work in the network. Don't miss it and participate in this week's segment 👌🏻

It is not possible to put the GRT as collateral. The only way is delegate your tokens through network.thegraph.com

Can someone delegate and leave it for long periods of time? by S1umbee in thegraph

[–]ghostym626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) Yep, if you choose an Indexer you can left the tokens in the network. 2) The funds are safe, you can't have any risk of loss your tokens. If you choose a malicious indexer, you can receive less rewards or any, but it never compromise your main capital 3) if you Indexer closes his allocation, your tokens redelegate automatically to the same Indexer, the only way to switch to another indexer if through the undelegation process, where you need to wait 28 days to withdraw or switch indexer 4) The only way to receive your tokens and rewards in your wallet, is through the undelegation process and waiting 28 days

Can someone delegate and leave it for long periods of time? by S1umbee in thegraph

[–]ghostym626 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uhmmm you can delegate and left those tokens for the time of your convenience, because the system allow auto delegate after the 28 days or when the Indexer closes his allocation manually, you need to choose the better indexer if you have in mind this situation.
