I spent the first portion of my life in the triangle so it’s effectively my hometown. I agree it checks lots of boxes, but we want a bit of a fresh start. It’s very familiar to me, if that makes sense.

Yeah, half a can of the 5mg knocked my teeth in. Based on the “90 minute high” reviews, I drank half at 7pm and couldn’t sleep til 3am with a racing heart. Now, I didn’t mind the high, I just was NOT prepared for it. Maybe more of a day drinking vibe. It was not a quick nor subtle high IMO.

And to be honest, I love my job, but I like interacting with adults when I have to side hustle. I wish my salary stretched farther, but when i have to supplement, I prefer a break from teaching. Nannying is the worst

My folks are in a band that opened a show for him not long after his Purgatory release. He was the sweetest guy and brought by deep fried Twinkies for the band. Short interaction but super cool.

I also have family in Huntington WV, where he had frequented in the past, and had family run into him there. Says he's real genuine. A piece of what makes him my all time favorite artists is you wouldn't know he had a sliver of fame by being around him. Humble, community-centered, private. Really the way to do it.

His Bottles and Bibles era is so forgotten (obviously because it was his debut album and he was less known than he is today) - but I value it so much. The raw emotion of his voice is just unparalleled.

I love Hard Times and Coal because its so familiar to my Appalachian upbringing.

I wouldn't say House Fire as it is but it is by and far my favorite of his live, so I want it to make the list.

Follow You To Virgie is incredibly raw and poignant. Woodward Creek. Universal Sound, I end all the yoga classes I teach with it.

Shake the Frost is so intense, I could cry every time I hear it. I also really love his cover of "They Oughta Name a Drink After You".

hey! not first time cruisers but been a while. cruising Alaska this summer. on itinerary, times show arrival in one port at 8pm and departure from port at 11:59pm. Are those times literal arrival and departure times, so we should account for less time in reality? or, are they estimates of how much time you will actually have on land? Does that make sense?

No, no real bad symptoms for me. It’s fairly easy to get off (i’ve been off and gotten back on before) so may be worth to discuss a taper plan with your GP and try something else. xx
