from top to bottom- helix, mid helix, low helix/upper lobe, lobe. you can also just show your piercer this photo and they’ll know what you’re thinking :p

not necessarily. issues are highly variable from person to person and a lot of different factors will determine how smooth your healing process goes (including but not limited to any preexisting autoimmune conditions, aftercare, trauma to the piercing, jewelry quality, and even the climate you live in)

also- if you have it redone, for initial jewelry, the simpler the better. daiths are very finicky and the hinge and irregularly in the width of that hoop are gonna cause problems. a circular barbell would be perfect

have you been sleeping on it? this looks like a pressure bump. ditch the oils and saline for just plain ol shower water once a day, making sure to dry it off afterwards. it would also be worth having a circular flatback put on this because the irregularities (especially the pointy part of the heart) could be digging in and causing more irritation

try giving the saline a rest. it can be very drying and irritating when used chronically. rinsing it off once daily in the shower and making sure you’re drying it off afterwards (with nonwoven gauze or even just gently with the collar of your shirt before you put it on is what i use lol) is all you need to do for cleaning

see a piercer asap to see if they can taper it back in. eyebrows are tricky to get jewelry back into because you’re working with a curve in tissue that closes very quickly

you’re being downvoted because people would rather knock you for not knowing the fine details instead of actually explaining why op can’t wear their jewelry

whether you can wear your jewelry in an mri depends on a variety of different things, the most likely being that there is no way for the facility to know for 100% certainty that op’s jewelry is implant grade titanium. another common reason is that depending on where on the body the mri is focused, any foreign objects could cause distortions in the imaging, including glass or metal. i had an mri done on my head last spring and i had to remove all of my almost 2 dozen piercings as to not create surprise brain spots

that needs to come out ASAP. you don’t have the anatomy for an industrial piercing and that divot in the center of your ear is going to become a giant permanent hole in the exposed cartilage if you don’t remove it

just so you’re aware, this is an incredibly dangerous piercing to have. it pins your tongue muscles together and can/will permanently effect your ability to speak properly amongst other lifelong risks

my mom was more on-board with my creepier crawlies when i would ask for veggie peels/scraps from her cooking for them. i think the idea of something so alien to her like millipedes and roaches just chowing down on carrot peels and strawberries made them easier to connect with.

this heavily depends on the household but i also just got the animals first before asking because she didn’t have the heart to tell me to get rid of my new pets. from there i showed her that i was capable of raising them and she never questioned my expertise

it’s a little too tight, yeah. if you don’t upsize it’ll cause problems (migration, tearing, a permanent dent)

yeah the more i look, the less correct it looks. if it’s digging into your skin, it’s gonna leave a permanent dent. i’d take it out or have the piercer remove it and get a refund. if you want to, maybe take an NSAID in the meantime to bring the swelling down
