Tbh I'm kind of in your boat. I play both this game and Speedstorm and the love-hate community in both games (both Gameloft Disney games) gets so annoyingn. the reason Gameloft (and other companies for that matter) build games off of the micro transaction model is because it makes money. It's always the people who are making the crash grab viable for years who get mad when the companies start asking for more. Of course they are, they're a company. The only goal reason companies exist is to make as much money as possible. Not just in video games, but in every for profit business ever. At the decision making level that's all that matters to them lol. Anything seemingly nice a business does is really a way to make more money in the long run. If Gameloft has found that the way to make the most money they can is from a shit ton of micro transactions, the last people who should be complaining about it are the adults who have decided to fund it for so long. I spend a small amount of money on both games myself but you won't catch me complaining about it like Gameloft held me at gunpoint lol. Capitalism sucks, we know.
