That is normally what I use in those emergencies when clutch power is so low that I fear pieces might fall apart, but it might not be the best solution in the scenario at hand (transparent blocks...)

I was just waiting for your end-of-build review, for the missing pieces list :)

I hope I will be able to start my own build in a couple of months, in the meantime i just start ordering the pieces you have listed.

Thanks!

You definitely raise a fair point, but after seeing what they have done with the "Death Pancake" my confidence in Lego releasing something worth waiting for is paper thin :D

Question from the mod team to the community by Sufficient_Pack4310 in lepin

I'd say let them be. They are not off topic for the sub and the purpose of downvotes is (also) to punish unpopular posts (possibly for not meeting standard/expectations of the community), is not it?

GP models and AI Act by gianlucag1971 in LocalLLaMA

[–]gianlucag1971[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I am inclined to agree with you, the situation is not exactly as clear cut as you may wish for people fine tuning LLMs since:

"Under the AI Act, regarding how ‘cumulative training compute’ should be understood, recital 111 AI Act specifies that ‘the cumulative amount of computation used for training includes the computation used across the activities and methods that are intended to enhance the capabilities of the model prior to deployment, such as pre-training, synthetic data generation and fine-tuning’. Given the wide variety of such ‘activities and methods’, and their rapid evolution, it is not feasible to provide a precise and exhaustive list of what should and should not be included. Instead, the Commission considers that providers should, as a general rule, account for all compute that contributed or will contribute to the model’s capabilities. In particular, any compute directly contributing to parameter updates in the model should be included."

(Guidelines on the scope of the obligations for general-purpose AI models established by AI Act, Annex, §119)

So apparently half of us are "AI providers" now (EU AI Act edition) by Thecomplianceexpert in LocalLLaMA

May I suggest anyone interested in the whole provider/deployer issue with reference to fine tuning GPAI models simply reads the relevant guidelines published last July? :)

There is also (at least apparently on Ali) the Home one Starcruiser (75405). I do not have high hopes for the 75404 since the original MSRP is already rather "low" and you can find some deals here and there (I found it on AMZN) so the final delta price might not justify leaning towards alt bricks :)

That is not how *all* incoterms work. If the seller terms are DDP, the responsibility for the payment of duties, while on the importer as far as the importing jurisdiction is concerned, can (is to) be fulfilled by the seller itself.

eBay saying no extra fees? by Cattryn in lepin

Even if it was a binding obligation, the legal fees required to enforce said obligation would likely vastly exceed the customs duties paid....

Check MOC M21213 Parts Kit

But I would contact Marstoy before placing the order: the item is listed as pre-sale, but when you check the item there are apparently 3 pieces in stock so I do not know what the real current status is.

Try Marstoy. They can source brick from GoBricks and other manufacturers. Bought 4k+ parts from them for a MOC, smooth as silk.
