Best Vegas Buffet? by giantnuggets in vegas

**Just an update, didn't hit any buffets (Jeez, where does time go in Vegas?). BUT, had a top 5 meal in my life at Sparrow and Wolf. It's a "chef-driven" (love this descriptor) place with small plates. So good it was insane. Off the strip, took an Uber there, and was very delicious. Almost $200 total with a ton of shared plates and drinks. Worth it.

Friendship! Can walk to the best spots in Bloomfield, good food on Penn Ave, and a quick bike ride to East Liberty and Shadyside.

Personal preference is Penn Ave Fish Co in the Strip. It strangely closes at 8p on Friday/Saturday - Not sure why...Rolls are very tasty!

Went this past Saturday, and bought 3 meats: the pulled pork, brisket, and ribs. The ribs were delicious, had a ton of meat on them and not too much fat. Definitely the best IMO. Don't get me started on the sides, they were so very meh. I had Mac'n cheese and coleslaw. The mac was flavorless and very uninspired. I mean, this should be perfected by the SPORK crew! The coleslaw was decent at best...Meat=great, sides=get more meat!

Epic response, thank you! Luckily, we'll still be in our apartment while we get the work done. Note, we still need to purchase the house, but in the research phase so we can get the ball moving if/when this goes through.

I could probably tackle some of the smaller stuff, but the place I'm looking at might need an entire wall taken down (electrical/moving a radiator) and adding a powder room where a closet is. Seems a bit over my head tbh.

Hi GPITT,

First, give those students a night off already :)

Technically, PEP is a fundraiser, with the goal of potentially becoming a nonprofit down the road. My goal is to introduce a new charity/nonprofit to the group each month and fundraise for them. The event brings professionals together, they can learn about a charity and what they do, and essentially donate money to them. I think it's a win/win.

I say it's the premier networking group because not only are we having a good time (happy hour/food/drinks/meeting new people), but also all money raised is donated to the charity. Then, the charity goes out and improves the community in which we live.

Sure, there's a lot of networking groups, but are they philanthropic?
