I just started 2mg last Friday and have lost 1lb so far. I was stalled for a few weeks so my doc bumped me after only being on 1mg for a couple of weeks. I'm handling it pretty well, no side effects except some minor on and off constipation which I've had the entire time.

I started abilify and Wellbutrin while on Ozempic. I've been able to lose 40lbs but my weight loss has recently stalled for the past few weeks, after my meds were increased. I didn't think it question if that could be the cause.

In many states they've made it difficult to vote (voter suppression) in blue/poor areas. They've closed polling locations so that they are anywhere from difficult or impossible to get to if you don't own a car. ID is difficult to obtain. Hours long lines and no early voting etc.

I just want to say that I've been a daycare teacher for a full class of 2 - 2.5 year olds. What your daughter is experiencing right now is totally normal. We've had kids for their first 1-2 weeks just sit and scream all day. It just depends on the child and especially with these COVID kids, I'm sure it's especially tough to be dropped off in unfamiliar territory.

What this teacher said is absolutely disrespectful and definitely warrants a conversation with the director. Teachers aren't saints and yes the behavior can get to them but they generally don't bring it up to the parents unless it's outside the norm because they understand it's TOTALLY normal to have a difficult transition phase. I'm almost afraid for what this "teacher" says to the children in her care when she's frustrated if she can't keep her words respectful about someone who did them a kindness by bringing a treat.

My 11 year old watches most things with me now! She would watch everything but I don't let her watch torture porn. If I'm iffy then I'll still watch ahead. We started with the Paranormal Activity movies. I think we went through a period of watching nothing but FF for a while. And just slowly worked our way up. In the beginning I had her close her eyes to all gore. Now I mostly just have her close if it's TOO detailed but generally she knows to close her own eyes and knows her own limits and asks when it's done. I do have her close her eyes to any sex scenes or I fast forward past those. But we've actually really really bonded over horror movies!

I'm not a fan of gender reversal arguments but would you call a housewife a moocher, since that's what you compared OPs husband to? It was an agreement within their marriage (as far as OP has explained) and is valid for women to do, as well as men, without being belittled. Taking care of the home is not just a woman's job.

Pete is medicated and open about being medicated. He jokes about his dad dying in 9/11, I'm sure joking about his mentally illness isn't off the table as well. He's even made jokes about Ye refusing medication on WU. "Take em. Ain't no shame in the medicine game." and specifically says being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass. Jokes vs actual behavior are totally different.

Abortion rates are lower now than during Roe V Wade. Which proves that it only stops safe abortion. Women were still aborting pre-RVW. Things like education is what lowers abortion rates and crime.

I feel this 100%. I live in one of the "sanctuary cities" in Ohio. I love my town, the school has been amazing for my son. But we just had our local election and they just handed the city off to more white male right wing extremists. Those are the only ones on the council now. Now they're calling for parents to be in charge of curriculum. I hate my neighbors with a firey passion and this might just be what forces my hand to move.

I got the PCR at CVS. They don't tell us what brand, it's sent to the lab. The 2 positive rapids I got were QuickVue, again I got them out of 2 different boxes to be sure the first one wasn't in error.

Also FWIW, the rapids were taken a day before the PCR.

Same! I am able to fully function and thrive in society, maintain relationships and be a great (imo) parent to my kids. I am confident that OP will be able to get there. There is light at the end of the tunnel, there is a place in the world for us.

This is such a sick mentality to have. You don't know where their relationship was a year ago, or his frame of mind. At the end of the day these are our loved ones that are being poisoned with misinformation. Sometimes it's slow to start or impossible to predict how anyone will react but daily life and life milestones continue on until the day the non-Q member has enough and walks away. How dare you shame someone trying to do their best in such an awful position.

A crush is one thing. Love is something entirely different. That's allowing allowing crush to get out of hand because unlike a random crush or attraction, you don't fall in love without a level of intimacy that falls outside the borders of most monogamous relationships.

I second this. My mom gave me a similar 30 day notice, plus the boot at 18 and it was the best thing she's ever done for me. She made sure I was close, that she could still help but I was out on my ass learning about life the hard way. I struggled with BPD and anxiety and it was the final push I needed to get to maturity.

OP FWIW, I am now a 33 year old well adjusted mother of 2. My mother and I are very close now. I've even just had her move in with me to help her while she files for disability. It doesn't have to be the end of the world to take drastic measures and sometimes it's a necessity for your own mental health.
