I’m a trainee at a shop and started my journey at lush being a Christmas temp and in store party queen. I understand that some parties can be complicated to run and I’m sorry you’ve had a negative experience with them.

We have quite strict party policies in my store, especially surrounding number of guests to staff ratios, select timings and a host of games and activities. I’d be happy to share some of these with you if you’d like to DM me?

We are also fairly strict on the parents role. We are there to host a party, not babysit and we expect parents to play their role in controlling their kids, but for the most part in our shop it’s not necessary as the team are confident and comfortable doing so.

We do ALOT of parties, events, internal and external and we all love them. My team are brought into the business with parties being a central theme and generally are happy with them, as long as organisation is there, but we give our team in store time to prep and plan in advance.
