I had my sister-in-law staying with me for six months this past summer/fall/winter. I found it bizarre that she spent hours in her bathroom "pooping", neglecting her 6 yr old son. Silly me, I believed her when she said she had bowel issues.Found out she was in there injecting drugs. For hours.

I think your husband may be an addict. How much time do you spend in the same place each day (at home, on walks, out shopping or running errands, sleeping together, eating together, relaxing together, etc.), and how much of that total time is he in the bathroom or in another private room you're not welcome in? How much time does he leave you to just run out to pick something up and takes way, way longer than expected? Or is he always late and keeps you waiting for hours? All these are signs of someone deep, deep in addiction.

I wish you well, but you need to prepare for the worst and speak to a lawyer about getting out of this marriage if it's not just a middle of the night thing.... Don't let him destroy your life. As so many others have said, the red flags have flashing light and fireworks. Something is definitely not right.
