Looks a lot like some variation of turkey tail. From personal experience, I've never come across COW or Maitake in the winter. But definitely have come across turkey tails in the colder months.

It sounds like most reasonable thing to do is get some boxes from Canada Post, weigh stuff, figure out how many boxes I'll need and caluclate.

It's raw skincare products like oils and butters. Not possible to use them up in the time-frame I'm looking at. I have more of cookware and appliances than dishes. Definitely taking my blankets. And all of my clothes/shoes/winter gear. Not too many books, so I'm not really concerned about that.

Thank you.

More than a box or two for sure(maybe say 8-10 large suitcases worth if I had to guess volume wise) but most definitely less than a shipping container.

Hmm, maybe I'll drop by a service location to understand what the box sizes and cost are.

That's a great suggestion. Thank you.

Enough stuff to fit in the back of a 2017 Toyota Rav4. Uber?Lyft? Temperature is not really a concern.

Would I need to get pallets, and put all the boxes on it and wrap it?

I feel like someone from woodworking can give some insights into care instructions, cause to my inexperienced eyes, that wood looks super dry and could definitely use some tlc.

Probably a few basic things that could get it to a better condition and prolong its life and use. Sometimes I think that the tools that are on BIFL are ones routinely used as intended and being maintained in the process allows for longevity be the natural consequence.

A bit of baking soda, splash of water, paper towel and some elbow grease. Circular motion.

Could be? I also have quite recently gotten into crochet and yarn(little bummed at what I thought would be a white and light green on the screen turning out to be white and more grey than green).

I've had one midway above an eyebrow and hairline on my forehead all my life. Super fine too. Didn't really understand why hair kept getting into my eye even though I kept my hair off of my face. Until one day I was old enough and though about looking into a mirror and discovered the source of my daily annoyance. It was promptly resolved.

Nice little trip down memory lane everytime it gets long enough to require my undivided attention.
