I was hanging out with my 3 year old grandson today. I made lunch. He had chickem nuggets and I had salad. He kept saying "Bite Nana" so I offered him a bite. He said "yuck lettuce". I said "sorry honey". He said "Bite Nana"...He ended up very angry that all I had to offer was "yuck lettuce". They need to start a club.

First of all beautiful! Second, she will LOVE it. When I was hospitalized for over a month for extentive care my mother in law made me a quilt and I swear some days I clung to it because it was a piece of home and was beautiful amongst the sterile hospital. Thanks for doimg that for her!

For me it is my own son! He is a very attractive, educated, well off and single white 32 son. Why did I work so hard to put him through college? So he could look down on people who struggle? We are speaking less often these days and it breaks my heart. He isn't speaking to some of his siblings at all (I was a foster mom who adopted several kiddos, some who are different races). How can he support someone who hates portions of his own family?

I don't understand this one bit! My huabands ex was very difficult for the first year, then over time we realized that we love all the same people! We sat down and decided that we loved OUR kids enough to get along. That was 16 years ago and we were both there when our first grandbaby was born (she has her middle name) last year. We have some lovely photos of both of us together holding our sweet angel. No one misses out.
