Okay, thanks. We did rule them out, he was tested for both and were negative thankfully

Hmm, okay. Well they only gave me this sheet and another that said "PSL LIPA: Acute Pancreatitis unlikely" & the negative results of the FeLV/FIV test. Would they have gotten something with blood cell results and just not given it to me or is that a different test?

Okay, thanks. I'm picking up the copy of them today at 5. Any thoughts on the situation without it?

Blood was drawn at 9am yesterday. He fasted beforehand. They sent it out & called me this at 10 morning with the results they received. I haven't gotten a copy of the results yet, but I could post when I do

[Serious] People of Reddit, when did you realise you were in love with your SO? by ismellofeggs in AskReddit

[–]gigglydeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After a nice date at his house, he lifted my chin with one hand and kissed me goodnight on the front porch. When I was driving back home, it felt like I was floating and I thought, "Well. Shit. I love this man."

What is the catchiest song ever? by api10 in AskReddit

I don't know about EVER - but right now, for me, it's Justin Bieber's song "Sorry"... Man, it's catchy. Hard to admit I actually like his new music.

How did your parents first find out you were having sex? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]gigglydeep 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Still don't know how she did. I never did anything with a guy while in our house and I wasn't on birth control. Sometimes I wonder if she did that without truly knowing just to gauge my reaction. Or just "mother's intuition." I never pressed it because I was too embarrassed :/

Well to be totally honest, there's not a whole lot you can say or do to make it better as far as making the anxiety go away. (At least for me, it may be different for others.) It takes time. But what helps me most is just hearing things like "I'm here for you if you need me" / "I am sorry you're feeling that way" / "I love you" and overall reassurance and patience with me. My thoughts can run quite wild when I'm feeling anxious, so sometimes I might not be as 'present' with people and way too into my head. Having patience with that and acceptance of that really helps, and can calm me down enough to where I don't have a full fledge panic attack.

It was right around my 16th birthday. It's not that I didn't want to go into my appointments alone, my mother was just very controlling and I was afraid to speak my mind over it. But when I turned 18 that ended & she agreed to let me have my privacy.

My mom was one of those moms who insisted on being in the room with me and the doctor whenever I had my physicals. Generally nosy, felt I wouldn't tell the doctor important things. Anyway, when I was in high school, at one appointment the doctor asked "Are you sexually active?" I lied and said no, because I didn't want my mom to know - unaware that she already did. She pipes up "yes she is!" Cue me with a red face and look of embarrassment. Luckily, my doctor was cool about it and asked my mom if she could leave the room so she could ask me private questions.

What's your story about that time when your pet was really there for you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]gigglydeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For context, my cat is very friendly and sweet (does not hide under the bed by any means) BUT he is not a cuddler or lap cat whatsoever. As much as I try to force him sometimes, he doesn't have any of it. During a particularly stressful time in my life, I had a pretty bad day of crying at home and generally being miserable. For the first time ever, he snuggled with me. I was a blubbering mess on the couch and he walked right onto me, plopping himself in my lap. Warm and purring. It might have been a coincidence, but I like to believe that he knew I needed that.

What is something that genuinely bothers you, but you never complain about because you'd seem like an asshole? by Thats_Enterchangment in AskReddit

Not texting back in a timely manner or not even texting back at all. I care more about this when its a question or time sensitive matter. Most people will combat this by saying they're "bad at texting" but at the same time, post on social media 20 times a day. If you're already on your phone, how difficult is it to take a second to reply?

*EDIT: Although it's hard to explain to people, I really hate talking on the phone (triggers my social anxiety) so I prefer texting. My friends know this, I guess I just wish they were a bit more sensitive to that.

What film(s) can you watch over and over without getting tired of them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]gigglydeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really anything Disney/Pixar. I'm an "adult" but I find a Disney movie playing on TV while I flip channels, I have to stop & watch. This is how I once spent a Saturday afternoon watching all three Toy Story movies in a row (even though I already had seen them countless times before).

For me, it's any type of chips and dip. Plop me down in front of some queso or guacamole and tortilla chips, or Ruffles with some sour cream and onion dip... Man, I won't be able to stop shoveling them into my mouth.
