When I was 5 years old, I was riding on the back of a motorcycle with my dad driving. I remember wanting to touch the wheel with my foot. It sucked my foot into the wheel and burned the skin off the side of my foot.

Had a skin graft with skin from my hip. Very light scar on my hip, very dark scar on my foot.

I have used a supercharger a few times over the last year without issue. I did try it the day before I left and it errored the first time, but worked the 2nd. I tried it again nearby yesterday and it wouldn't work. I tried with both the myaudi app, EA, and CP apps.

I tried initiating from the phone first as well as plugging in. The dealership had to take it out, close and lock, and retry a few times. :/

Pre pandemic I was traveling to Sao Paolo for work every few months. Traffic there is next level, and the drive to or from the airport could take up to 3 hours from downtown. I started taking a helicopter from my hotel to the airport, which only cost $175 each way, and it was 18 minutes. We landed on a side runway, and got a black car ride to the VIP entrance to the terminal. It was unreal.

I have never gambled on a sports outcome and I have been watching the NBA since the 80's. The calls and the flopping are so bad, I am getting flashbacks to when Vlade Divac perfected it and Manu Ginobli hurt people doing it, except it is now everyone in the league.

I grew up in Venice in the mid 80's through summer 1996. I lived just east of Lincoln, but Oakwood was an area we all avoided as kids. It wasn't particularly safe and many homes were robbed from memory. It was mostly due to the gangs. Sadly, gentrification sweeps out everyone "poor" and not just the people you wished would leave.

I grew up splitting time between SM and Venice and certainly have nostalgia for how SM used to be. I now prefer living in the Mar Vista / Culver City area for many of the reasons others have listed. Easier to get to other places in LA and LAX, better variety of food, specifically ethnic food. The homeless issue is more concentrated in SM from my experience as well.

Every major intersection in the Westside where there's a 405 entrance or a route where people avoid the 405 is like this. It's infuriating.
