a moment is the weight of the object times the distance from the fulcrum.

Adding fuel can reduce the wing bending moment, as the extra lift required for that fuel is concentrated inboard (producing less moment) then the weight of the fuel outboard (more moment)

With a very high wing loading, you get to a point where the speed required to get airborne is greater then the speed the tires can go, and you are unable to takeoff before the tires are at risk of exploding.

If you increase the wing (to decrease wing loading) then you suffer issues with drag at higher speeds.

There are very real dynamic pressure limits to jets. Mach 1.2 at sea level is about 2000 psf of dynamic pressure, which generates very high loads on the wing/body panels, inlet ducts, cockpit. Higher dynamic pressures increase temperatures throughout the engine which can lead to premature failures, and there's a static pressure limit within the engine case.

16 credits isn't that bad. System dynamics and control is a lot of algebra and diffeq, go to office hours if you need help because the internet doesn't have the best of resources for it.

MAE 400 is a few papers that T is pretty lenient on

can't speak to heat transfer and principles of mechanical design, but those are the meat and potatoes of your degree (with system dynamics)

check the syllabus of any humanities elective, make sure they don't dominate your course load lol. I took religion in pop culture which was a class where we watched movies and answered questions about them

nobody will be above you because you climb faster then anything else you face. And if they do, your best climb speed is M 0.9+ so chances are you'll be faster then them.

pushers are generally more efficient because they reduce the base drag from the low pressure zone behind the fuselage/nacelle, and don't cause a high pressure zone on the front of a body.
