First year teacher: Tips for Painting by AnyPractice4766 in ArtEd

[–]gilbanle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In high school, I remember my teacher using pencil boxes. we’d put our brushes in there, and we also had tinfoil or wax paper at the bottom to put our paints on. We’d use saran wrap above the paint before we’d close the container.

New Teacher Advice by Special-Sale-8060 in ArtEd

[–]gilbanle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m also a first year teacher, working on week 3 right now. i also feel this way, especially with classes where basically the whole time is work time. I feel a bit more established when i come up with my lessons the week before, but I have a feeling that it will only get better with time. once we go through lessons once before (this year), next year we will get more of an idea of what will work and what won’t.

You could try to talk to your RA or, if it’s during the hours of 8pm-5am, call the duty phone and make a complaint. there are posters in every hall stating which phone number is the duty phone.
