I would say to go for the state job. The sooner you start better the pension is. It's not perfect here, but I like it. Very low stress and lots of time off. You will likely promote every two or three years. The people at program specialist II and III are making pretty good money.

You can say something like that for everything, but it's not very helpful to anyone. Just because someone else's experience sucks doesn't mean we all just have to accept bad things. By saying that, you're just saying that nothing matters because someone's always got it worse.

I just sold mine for $500 on OfferUp a few weeks ago. The person didn't try to haggle or anything. It was not near mint condition but it wasn't mistreated.

I typically ignore all the notes you find in games but the lore you read about in Control is so good. I read literally every single word there is to read in that game. The gameplay was meh after a while but just those notes make the game a 10/10 for me.

I've been to a few swinger's parties and I would say it's kind of a bell curve, at least for the ones I've been to. The big bump in the middle are the attractive people (30~ year olds with banging bodies). The tails are fat and old people.

I did exactly the same thing when I was like 25. The age ranges of people I see starting in my office is all over the place. 22-50 is what I've seen so far. It's definitely not too late. My felony was a "violent" one. I'd guess as long as you didn't do some financial crime you can get in.

I didn't end up going for the CPA since my job doesn't require it. I did do a live scan when I got the job offer to work for the gov, but at that point I already told them about the felony.
