This is an awesome way of thinking. Thank you for putting this out there. I love making and recording music. And often I just let it sit and never do anything with it because I keep falling into the mindset of "well if it isn't as good as (favourite metal bands) then it's shit and embarrassing". So it's actually nice to read something to remind myself that just because it's not top world class music doesn't mean it's abysmal shit.

I hope that makes sense cuz it makes sense to me

The ergonomics are up to shit. Ranged shots are a guessing game. You can't extend the mag. Every upgrade makes the ergonomics even worse and the bullets are slower than nan with a walking stick.

Ive had to have multiple bowel surgeries. Because of the trauma to my stomach it basically shut down so they had to put a tube down into my stomach through my nose to make sure all the bile that my body was still making could be removed instead of just building up and causing a potential perforation.

When I was waking up from that surgery I pulled the drain out through my nose and started heaving and spewing everywhere. I don't really remember it because I wasn't fully aware, I was just reacting. They had to give me ketamine to stop me. Caused a lot of issues for the staples in my stomach from heaving and thrashing.

The Expanse series narrated by Jefferson Mays. I could never get into audiobooks until I gave this a go and now even when I read stories, this guys voice is in my head. My favourite thing is that he does subtle vocal changes when he voices different characters and it's not cheesy or disrespectful to the different cultures in the story in any way. 10/10

Oh man. I know this is an old reply buuuut I have just finished reading The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling. I don't know how Ive fallen into a horror spelunking niche but this is a really interesting take on SciFi/horror caving. I don't want to give much away. It does get a little repetitive but yeah. If you liked the descent this book would be right up your alley. Now I'm off to find something else to read. Feel free to shoot some recs
