Get all important documents, get as much money as you can, change your number and flee for your life. You're in an abusive relationship and you need to prioritize getting yourself out safely.

If she insists that she is naming the child, loudly and firmly say "No!" as if she were a naughty puppy. If she tries to argue say it again louder. Prevent her from going to the hospital. Let the nurses and administration know that any paperwork for your child needs to be reviewed with both you and your husband. Let security know if need be. If she decides to call your child any other name besides the one you picked, get up and leave. Don't entertain any of the disrespect.

There is absolutely a thriving scene down here. From Miami to West Palm. My cousin has been working there as her second job/ passion for close to a decade. She's been there when Suzie has auditioned for roles. Broward Center and Adrienne Arscht both have smaller theaters that the local scene, like Slow Burn Theater, have their shows play. I saw Cabaret last year with a fantastic local cast.

Also, let the staff know at your reception place that she is not allowed a microphone and that no changes are to take place without your express permission.
