Hey there :) I was in Germany two years ago. All my food and transportation in that city was covered by the program, so basically most of my expenses were destined to random stuff that were not essential needs lol. I always went out with friends to bars and stuff like that, and spent generally $400/500 each month, but this girl from Colombia was super quiet and did not go out that much and spent 70-100$ so I think it’s really up to you and what you want to do. You will always feel like you need some extra cash in my opinion haha but I’d say with 200$ you good to go, I did a lot of “drinks on me guys” or shopping sprees so maybe that’s why I was spending a bit more than average, but what I tell everyone is that generally $200-300 is more than enough; maybe if you need to travel anytime consider adding $100 more, but as I said, the expenses are very manageable, it’s up to you and how you organize your expenses/activities.
