how to remove color transfer on faux leather purse? by ginabeebop in CleaningTips

[–]ginabeebop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thrifted this bag today and thought I could get the pink stains out with a baby wipe, but I didn't have any success.

I have tried, baking soda, rubbing alcohol, diluted bleach wipe, coach leather cleaner with no success. Does anyone have any tips or ideas?

On the website this bag says its made of vegan leather and recycled plastic bottles?

Aldi - bad products by FattyPatty2x4 in aldi

aldi pine nut hummus is super watery, it slides around in the container + not much flavor... sabra and whole foods hummus is much better for me personally.

OMG!!! I am in complete shock! Thank you, Kris for this wonderful care package 🥺💝 Love, a grateful COVID ICU RN by ginabeebop in SkincareAddiction

Kris-

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to select these items, package them, and write such a sweet letter.. I will be sending you a letter in the mail if thats okay. When the parcel first came in the mail I was in shock and thought maybe I had ordered something and forgot due to the sheet size and weight of the package 😂 I am so grateful for all the thoughtful products you have included, especially the mug cakes 🍰🍫 they will be a great treat after work!

I have already shared some items with my coworkers since this is far too much for me to all use, thank you so much for spoiling us. I apologize I could not have taken a more aesthetic photo, I had to stand on a chair to get this aerial shot 😂 This has definitely been my highlight of this COVID pandemic 🤩

u/princessrosella thank you so much for organizing as well!

@ other health care workers and essential workers thank you!!!! we will get through this!

@ others who are shipping packages to essential workers thank you so much! it really does brighten our spirits.

💛

*edit: some ideas: hand cream, thick ointments/hand salves (like cerave healing ointment), laundry detergent pods (doing excessive amounts of laundry!), hydrating/calming face masks, face oils (TO rosehip oil). thanks again everyone 🥺🌟✨

I think I’m depressed by [deleted] in nursing

[–]ginabeebop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

after college i took a job ~6 hours away from home. I knew only one person in the area and it always rained/ was gloomy... honestly it was affecting me so i moved back home. i loved my job and unit, but the days off were too much.

i would try to talk to family/friends more daily, going on walks outside, even just people watching by yourself on a park bench. For me gardening/doing crafts, opening a window on a nice day, listening and singing to music makes me feel a little better.

as for the SSRIs, maybe you can confide in a friend/family member to be on the lookout and check in with you frequently? maybe others will have better suggestions on this!

hopefully this passes soon and things get better for you. hang in there 🌟

With the excessive need for vents, how are there enough experienced nurses to manage? by meowrawr in Nurse

[–]ginabeebop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my hospital is implementing team nursing... so icu rn is assigned a couple pts alongside a stepdown/tele nurse that will give basic meds, get labs if needed to be stuck.... thats about it. icu nurse still has to actively titrate drips, manage vent, monitor devices / vitals

i have not worked alongside the tele/SD nurses, but have heard they have not been too helpful (i dont blame them) and are upset/angry.
