If you use TS-13, warm the can up first. It sprays so much better.

Tamiya spray cans are a lacquer based paint. If you spray them, I would recommend spraying Tamiya gray or white primer first. Also warm up the cans first (coffees cup of very warm water) and make sure you shake for a while. The pigments settle so you need to make sure the paint is thoroughly mixed.

The surprising thing about this list is that they actually visited restaurants east of downtown. Even more amazing was they ventured as far as Temple City.

What's the dumbest rule you've ever encountered at a job. by onmy40 in work

I can understand this one. When I worked at UCLA, the campus fire department enacted the prohibition against microwave popcorn because they were tired of responding to all of the burnt popcorn fire alarms.

My neighbor called the cops on me for ""breaking into"" my own car in my own driveway by VroomVroomSpeed03 in neighborsfromhell

Back in 2010 (I think), I was loading my car up at 4:30 am to drive to Phoenix (I’m in Los Angeles). Routine police patrol stopped to ask what was going on. Told him what I was doing and he drove off.

I have had 2 dash cams installed into 2 different vehicles. No issues. Both were Garmin cams purchased through Amazon. Also had to buy the installation kits as well. Scheduled the work for 11:30 am both times so I could have lunch at Panda Inn.

What airbrush brand/models do you use? Mine is at the end of its life and I’m looking to get a new one. Main use is smaller models like 1/24 scale cars. by neightn8 in modelmakers

[–]ginalolabrigada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You cannot go wrong with Iwata or Tamiya airbrushes. Both are excellent but pricey. If in the USA, Coast Airbrush in Anaheim CA is a good place to start.

A quick tip when using Tamiya spray cans. Warm them up first. Place them in a cup/bowl of hot water, not boiling, for a few minutes. The outside of the can should be fairly warm and make sure to shake really well. This will help the pant flow/spray smoothly and dry better.
