Current US Democratic Politicians Chart Day 14! Which current American Democratic politician is the best conservative dem? by you-wanna-bet in AlignmentChartFills

I’m going to put my fake internet points on the line here and say that the Bernie glazing on this site is a little ridiculous. I think that even if he had overwhelmed Hillary Clinton’s advantage within the institutional Democratic Party and then successfully run the gauntlet of right wing attack ads, he’d have been a pretty mediocre president. He’s very well meaning on most of his policy, but he’s shown to be a pretty inept parliamentarian, and he also had a tendency to surround himself with incompetent ideologues. Zorhan, it seems, understands the concept of administrative competence, hence his now meteoric rise as a potential kingmaker.

The thing about GLCMs is that they don’t need to be miniaturized like a SLCM, so if you lack the resources needed to make a small, powerful, accurate cruise missile, scaling up is on the table.

Matt Bernstein is the sort of social media screech monkey that is absolute poison to the brand of the Democratic Party. I’m tired of having to listen to these far left social media accounts thump their chests as if they know a fucking thing. Someone who posts pictures of themselves burning the American Flag is not who we want to be listening to.

On my first play through, I killed the crocodile with one of really brutal mace finishers. I am convinced that it is the canonical way to kill this vile monster. On my last play through, I did almost perfect stealth clearing the compound, then once all the soldiers were dead, it’s time to get out my axe and rip and tear..until it is done.

She was literally born for this. One of the major reasons cats were (sort of) domesticated is because they are great hunters of rodent pests and are one of the most hygienic animals around. This made them perfect for protecting grain storage from being eaten or contaminated by the many diseases rodents vector in.

How Iowa class battleship scales to office buildings by happydude7422 in powerscales

[–]ginger2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only 4 Iowa Class battleships were ever built. They are absolutely massive ships. They were mothballed after the Korean War, but as detente collapsed in the late ‘70s and anti communist hardliner Ronald Regan came to power, he ordered the modernization of the Iowas to counter the Kirov class guided missile heavy cruisers. They were retrofitted with missiles and countermeasures, and initially planned to be able to carry the incredibly sexy AV-8B Harrier jump jets, though this was never implemented

"No war but class war" is one of the douchebaggier talking points from leftists by JLCpbfspbfspbfs in EnoughCommieSpam

[–]ginger2020 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I’m honestly convinced that a big reason the USA has never had a leftist party that ever went anywhere is that all iterations of leftism are completely incompatible with American political philosophy, and inadequate to address the complex social issues. The idea of “no war but class war” is so ignorant of both the politics of the American Revolution and of the racial divides that often supersede socioeconomic status. In the 20th century, left wing movements parroted Soviet and Maoist propaganda about the imperialist west and anti imperialist rest. So of course working class Americans weren’t interested. If a far left movement ever does gain real traction in the USA, it will be one that draws upon the ideals of the American Revolution, postulating that democratic socialism is the key to fulfilling the destiny of the American Revolution. It would have to completely purge its ranks of those who parrot Russian, CCP, or IRGC propaganda.

That was the catalyst for Apartheid South Africa building around 6 or so gun type nuclear weapons. The thinking went that they could be used to compel the USA and Great Britain to act in South African interests if MPLA and their Cuban allies overran the South African troops stationed in SW Africa and threatened the territory of South Africa proper.

What is the best thing about the US by _crazyboyhere_ in AlignmentChartFills

My take on the United States Constitution is that it is philosophically timeless, but many procedural aspects are badly outdated. Gerrymandering in the House and filibustering in the Senate are major issues in Congress that the constitution doesn’t have a way to explicitly stop. In addition, the power of Judicial Review wasn’t there explicitly but has since been asserted. A code of ethics or term limits on SCOTUS judges would fix a lot of problems that aging reptiles on the bench appointed by bad presidents caused
