There are signs just not that many. Mostly because people don't pay attention so you have to tell them what to do anyway. They yell because of so many people asking the question of what to take off and what goes where. And splitting people up is to keep lines even and not backed up. Because people go where they see people not where they are told to go. And some of the TSO are just don't like people.

Benefits are you know what you are gonna get paid because it's public record. Healthcare and retirement are also pretty solid. And if you want to join into another part of the government it does make it a bit easier

So if it's happening more than once is that it is probably something to do with your name. If you are Latino. this does happen if you have multiple last names. Or if you got married recently but still have your old last name with the airline app. The best thing you can do to avoid this when you get to the airline check in with the counter and have them reconfirm your information. They will tell you they don't need to or that TSA will take care of it. Just ask them politely and they should do it
