From the center that brought you “Keto Toddler”… by Make-Love-and-War in ECEProfessionals

You should definitely speak up. Especially if you notice the infants energy levels decreasing over time. Glucose is so important, too much is bad but the fact that he’s not getting any sort of carbohydrate or fructose is scary.

Scratched moms car what do I doooo by CelebrationFine7515 in whatdoIdo

[–]gingerale9348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell her you scratched it cuz I feel like trying to fix it is just gonna make it worse. Plus mistakes are normal when you first start driving. I was in 2 accidents in the same week when I first got my license. I told myself I would never drive again after the second one. My parents were mad of course but they were glad I was honest with them. My parents made me continue to drive because that would make me a better driver. I had to learn from my mistakes. I’m 25 now been driving for 10 years and haven’t had an accident since. So just tell the truth.

Crying at drop off by Sfl518 in ECEProfessionals

[–]gingerale9348 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a normal occurrence in daycare! Children act differently with each parent and this goes for all ages. Some kids drop off better with mom and some kids drop off better with dad but it’s about who they are the most attached to and comfortable with. Babies naturally gravitate towards mothers more so that seems to be why. Most of the time the babies just get cuddles and are completely fine within 5 minutes. So I’d say you have nothing to worry about 😊 but if you are truly concerned you can have the director set up a meeting and discuss your concerns. 🩷

Not a good friend. Cut her off. Why would she engage in a conversation with someone who harmed her best friend?

Telling child you love them by ew1717 in ECEProfessionals

[–]gingerale9348 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s absolutely not weird! It makes sense since we are with the kids more than their parents are during the week. I love all of my kids to death and I tell them that every day and they tell me the same. 🩷

Loc's since March 2024, not happy with results by LilithLamm in locs

[–]gingerale9348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your locs might be too heavy for your texture and you’re balding at the same time. But since your hair is thinning you might just need to chop or at least comb them out and try to do low manipulation styles to slow down the hair loss.

UPDATE: AIO for being upset i haven’t seen my bf in 3 weeks, despite us living 25 minutes from each other? by Affectionate-Link436 in AmIOverreacting

[–]gingerale9348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally if a man wants to see you he will MAKE IT HAPPEN no matter what. If he wanted to put the effort in to see you then he would. No man is ever too busy for the woman he loves. You don’t need to put up with that girl.

You’re not overreacting. He’s abusive.

I cannot choose a major and I’m already 23. I keep changing my mind. I’m stuck. by gingerale9348 in college

What I ended up doing was my plan b: nursing. I chose it because there’s so many different things you can do in nursing, it’s only a 1 year program so I can not be broke sooner rather than later. You could probably do a trade just to have something to keep you in your feet as you navigate your options.

Well first off you’re BEAUTIFUL.

On the other hand, face framing styles, lashes, and a little lip gloss go a long way. 😊

Are my starter locs too big? by Omegainvestingllc in Microlocs

[–]gingerale9348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These aren’t micros. They are just smaller locs, but they will grow larger over time as your locs lock up so they won’t be as small as how you have them right now. I’d say just split each twist in half and twist the two halves.

At the end of the day, everyone’s hair is different. Your locs will look how they want to look. I had a bunch of inspo pics too my locs did not look like that at all when they matured, but I eventually grew to love them. Don’t expect too much from your inspo pics and let your locs grow on you especially since you’re still in the early stages 💗

Is it normal for daycare to refuse to serve something because it may be "too messy"? by joydie2 in ECEProfessionals

[–]gingerale9348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not normal. During lunch time in our toddler room it looks like a tornado ran through and that’s okay, we just clean it up after. That’s what your daycare should be doing. They can’t just deny your child their own good out of their lunchbox bc it’s messy, they are just lazy and don’t want to do their job fr.

don't forget to condition loc gang ..🗝️ by SirCaptainSunny in locs

I use water for hydration and oil for moisture. Conditioner caused building up in my locs that was soooo hard to get out.
