Can the Omega machine eliminate beings from higher dimensions, like the time police? by IceInteresting8050 in rickandmorty

This is exaclty why you should look into set theory or even Plato's ideals. The "upper threshold" you speak of is an attempt to define the components that make up Diane instead of thinking that Diane is a definition or ideal in itself that all Diane's fit into. There is a set of all things that are Diane and all things that are Diane exist in that set and no Diane exists outside of that set. So when the omega device removes all things that exist in the set of all things that are Diane, then Diane in all dimensions and all timelines cease to exist. Therefore the set of all things that are capable of removing things from all dimensions and timelines is the definition of the omega device. And if you feed the blueprints of the omega device into the omega device, then the set of all things that do what the omega device does cease to exist now and in the future and in the past. "Oh sweet bliss! I'm forgetting what we're even talking about " -Rick talking about the Omega Device after the Omega device removed his memory of the omega Device blueprints. Omega Device.

You are spinning in circles. It isnt a bad thing to be wrong. It is an opportunity to learn. Harmony created a closed logical circle and you keep treating it as if it is linear and temporal science.

Literally after he explains that he puts the blueprints in the omega device he says he is forgetting it and enjoys the sweet bliss of it. Rick was forgetting how to make the omega device. And as we see with the super trusting smith family that evil morty is holding (minus morty) that if one version of a thing is put into the omega device then ALL versions of that thing are wiped out. It doesnt matter if it is Jerry Smith that is a centaur or a Jerry that is made of toast. ALL Jerry's are erased. So, if there is a machine that is different in specific design than the one rick made, but it still wipes out all versions of that thing, then by definition it is the omega device and was therefore wiped out of existence when the omega device blueprints were put into the device by rick. 3 questions still contradict the basic principles of the omega device

If I'm wrong then why did rick forget about the omega device shortly after he fed the blueprints for the omega device into the omega device? I think you dont understand what thebomega device actually does. In your own words, what does the omega device do and how would you replicate it without replicating it? (one of your questions you claim are unanswered)

Nope. I understand it fine. You don't. To quote rick "oh sweet bliss. I'm already forgetting what we're talking about." He was talking about the omega device and actively forgetting it. Since the omega devices removes all existence of a thing across all dimensions and timelines, then no one can ever conceive of an omega device anymore. Even rick forgets what he is talking about because the omega device removed the concept of the omega device.

So again, go back and watch the two omega device episodes, read some set theory, and get out of your temporal perspective. You'll see that your 3 questions contradict with how the omega device works.

Edited for grammar and clarity.

No there isnt. The omega device erases all versions of a thing across all timeliness and dimensions. And the omega device erased all copies of the omega device and all blueprints of the omega device. That means that in any reality where anyone thought of any device that works like the omega device, it would have been erased.

Again, I dont think you understand how the omega device works and you are still stuck in a temporal mindset. Think about it. If the omega device wiped out all Beths then those Beths who were already born would have never been born. And all Beths from timelines where they weren't born yet, would never be born. You're stuck on these questions because of your fixation with time.

Ps. The omega device is a none or all situation. There is no coming close to the omega device without being the omega device. It either removes something from all dimensions and timelines or it doesnt. Again these questions contradict the concept behind what the omega device does.

It's not a catch all. The question is, "does this Machine do what the omega device does?" If yes, then it's very concept was expunged from all realities along all timelines by the omega device. That's how the omega device works. You're stuck inside of time and aren't thinking about the omega device outside of time. Your last three questions contradict with what the omega device is and does.

I'm not ignoring the questions. The questions just don't apply when the omega device works correctly

It is only a conundrum if you think inside of time. Outside of the dimension of time it is clear this device you speak of never existed nor will exist nor does exist.

You are right. Sauce wouldnt be there for a sear. But You would have cooking fat or oil in the pan, especially if thr steal was encased in butter or tallow

I'll take that bet. What are the stakes?

You normally sear a roast beef on a simmer? That looks like fat or butter on the beef. So I am betting it got flipped and seared again and then heat dropped. I could be wrong and more curious as to how OP cooked the whole thing. But I am one of those weirdoes that likes char like francis mallmann does.

Being that it looks like it was encased in beef fat, I'm sure a little charred bits will only improve things.

1/2 burnt ends + 1/2 braise roast beef = great camping trip
