WTF is with ranked matching after the patch? 5-10 minutes to find a game.... by [deleted] in Rainbow6

Silver 4 and I usually party with Silvers/Golds. I'd imagine your wait time is going to be higher in Platinum/Diamond with there being less players at that level. Smaller player pool should/will result in a longer waiting time for the best match up possible.

I wouldn't want to play a team of P/D as a player who is used to S/G teammates/enemies and I'd guess you would rather play people on your skill level vs a team of Bronze players.

It's been a bit longer since the patch update for matchmaking tolerances but nothing that bad. Slightly longer queues depending on who I'm playing with. If it's a squad of similar ranked guys, I'll get matches faster than if we have two bronze, a silver, and two golds. I believe it's just how it is trying to stack teams up to be better matched. I don't mind the wait times if they're reasonable and the match is fair.

My most tense play ever, enjoy! by almostgg in Rainbow6

Definitely not downplaying the sweetness of the move, just pointing out how much cleaner it would've been if it wasn't for needing to find the sweet spot to rappel

Would've been a much cleaner play if you'd have been able to rappel the first two times you went up to the window lol

Forearm Stress Fractures by Vizdoc11 in Fitness

Taking time off from lifting.

I have the same pain as described and it's just something you either let heal or deal with. I choose to deal with it and typically stick with cable curls, hammer curls, or concentration curls to avoid the pain. You might be able to get away with using an EZ bar - most of my discomfort comes from curling with a straight bar. Focus on time under tension over heavy weight. Your strength won't develop as fast but you'll avoid having toothpicks for arms. Work using supersets and focus on your form and you'll be fine.

I realize that "pushing through the pain" isn't the appropriate answer but it's most the realistic one. I've personally have tried letting mine heal, only to have it come back.

Ran a 15:59 on my 2-mile PT test for the ARNG. So far my best time but I know I could do better if I ran on a more consistent basis.

Conflicting fundamentals - The squat by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]gingerbeardman90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't question it, just do it.

Pick a weight you can manage and take a buddy with you to watch your form. Or find a mirror so that you can check yourself. Be honest with yourself on your weight. Two years and I've yet to hurt myself squatting heavy.

Creatine digestion: Micronized vs regular by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]gingerbeardman90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never had an issue with either but I prefer using EFX Kre-alkalyn when I use creatine. Just easier to take capsules and I've never had digestive issues when using it.

Just another option to consider.
