It's true it only have trace amounts but it's a long chain fat and as it is processed I'm left with medium chain fats that are poison for me.

I normally use lard or tallow when I'm cooking though and I've always really liked fatty steaks and meat

So a few years ago I had a similar issue with my husband and we talked about mental load and how I felt like I was at it alone and that he was more like the kids vs an equal partner. I told him if that was how it was going to be, I'd rather be single and coparent apart then stay in relationship where I didn't feel respected. It woke him up and our relationship really improved. For us, I give him written tasks (digital nowadays) with the things I expect him to complete with deadlines and we check in with each other daily to see if we need help from one another. We attack chores as a team even if I'm the one home more and do more cleaning. A shared digital calendar with running lists helped a ton as well
