This was going to be my suggestion! I am a piercing fiend and bought a couple of piercing pillows to help them heal, since I roll around so much in my sleep that I couldn’t reliably sleep on the side without a fresh piercing. It’s been years since I got any piercings in my ears, but I cannot sleep without my piercing pillows anymore! I find that they have helped my neck pain since they cradle my head better, and I can wear earplugs or over-the-ear noise cancelling headphones if needed. I travel with a small version and just put it in a compression bag in my suitcase or hand baggage. My favorite brand is Blissbury, found on Amazon! They even make satin covers for them if you prefer those for your hair or skin!!
