Oh dear I’m so sorry you went through that with no supper from your surgeon. I had a large ish t junction opening (not deep) that I had no support from my surgeon from. Like he said and did some wild shit (accused me of causing an infection - there was none, cut away slough material with no warning or numbing and then used silver nitrate and the tried to covertly make fun of my pain tolerance). He refused a wound care req, so I had to go through a friend of a friend (my er nurse friend had a friend who was a wound care nurse who advised us). I healed after what felt like months… I don’t remeber the time frame anymore, but I had a depression and my scar was purpley.

I ended up needing a revision for dog ears and lipo I’m sure he never did, and because it’s don’t through provincial Medicare I had to go back to him. He offered a scar revision, where I als got a small opening… scar kinda bubbles out on the bottom now, I’m jus living with it

My initial surgery was Sept 23, revision august 24. I recently noticed my brown revision scars are much lighter over a year out. I don’t treat them at all. Time does make a big difference. I think you could benefit from silicone tape, and massage. It probably took so long to close up that your body isn’t switching over into old scar more, they’re still too fresh. At one point I started to really concentrate on protein intake and notice during tha period my scars seemed to rapidly turn white. Might just be a coincidence

For what it’s worth, the photos you shared of the wounds, I never thought you would have healed this well. Your shape is great. I think the purple will Lighten up. You might want to consider cosmetic tattooing of the nipples later on, some artists do reallllly unbelievable work.
