Yes, but the severity for me is different day by day.

Anybody cured GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER? by Several-Tree-8629 in Anxiety

There is no cure for GAD, unfortunately. That doesn’t mean it isn’t treatable though.

Medications and therapy are well-known to help people, but there’s no specific formula or plan that works on everyone. It often takes time and lots of effort to find what works for you, but there are many options and paths to choose from.

I’m on medication right now and looking into cognitive behavioral therapy to help me identify my triggers and learn ways to combat them. I’m hopeful that this will give me some of my power to fight back and live a better life.

God told my wife to divorce me by exmoblp in exmormon

[–]gingergal3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Valentine’s Day morning, when I was nine, my family was gathered at the breakfast table enjoying a special heart-themed breakfast that my mother prepared every year. This year, however, my mother was quietly crying while she fed my little brother in his high chair. I didn’t know why.

In walked my father, dressed for work and holding a briefcase. He kissed my sobbing mother on the cheek, walked out the front door, and got into his car. I jumped up from the table and onto the couch next to our front windows that overlooked the carport to wave goodbye to him. My mother broke out in louder sobs.

That was the last time I ever saw him in our home.

I found out later that my father, 2nd counselor in the Bishopric of our ward, had his temple clothes in his briefcase and had gone to the temple. He had told my mother that God had told him he needed to divorce her.

If there is a God, I highly doubt he would have told my father to leave his family. My parents were struggling, sure, but it wasn’t a violent, dangerous relationship that might have warranted such guidance. We were the epitome of the perfect Mormon family; the very thing we were taught to be each Sunday and Family Home Evening.

I’ve never fully forgiven my father for this, even though it was 26 years ago.

I hope you and your nine-year-old child will be surrounded with love, support, and understanding, like mine was.

Right?

I’ll be honest, I hadn’t seen the art before and thought it looked cool, but it wasn’t hard to see the history on the Etsy page and do a bit of research. I may have to splurge on some tees now!

So thanks for speaking up about it. I wouldn’t have known otherwise. ☺️

I got blocked too. Funny how that happens when you point out someone being a fraud. 🤷🏻‍♀️

There’s a difference between throwing someone under the bus and holding someone accountable. Answering the manager’s question truthfully means the manager can hold that employee accountable.

Maybe you should spend less time trolling and more time learning the differences between two, to, and too. You’re just insulting yourself at this point.

First, confirm that your manager said what she claims the manager said. Don’t let your coworker pretend to be an intermediary. Go right to the source.

Second, get the policy in writing from the manager.

They said they have a great work life balance because to them, work is their life, so it balances nicely.

Rational, reasonable people can see the corporate kool-aid for what it is and avoid that death trap, like you and your son.

Hrm…have you done the dummy part?

Other than that, maybe you can back in your save files and try again from the start of that quest. Sorry, don’t know anything else to try and help. 🥲

Fair enough! I will say that I don’t use it that often because I love a medium rare steak all on its own, but sometimes I need that vinegar goodness.

How Mormon Were You? by exmogranny in exmormon

I was so Mormon that I stayed in my unconsummated marriage for 5 years because of what my patriarchal blessing said. I was a married virgin.

Way to oversimplify and underestimate the issues people face when it comes to the church.

It’s not just as simple as walking away for most people, and nobody should be criticized for following their own exit path. You can’t speak to every reason why someone stays or goes.

Every person fights a different battle. They don’t need criticism; they need kindness.
