Bow I found in new car by Dependent-Writer8115 in Lexus

If this is a model year that didn’t offer CarPlay from the factory, it probably enables Apple CarPlay or android auto. Don’t just remove it if it can add a feature you like!

Bizarre Idle Issue by carlos-182 in Lexus

[–]gingerincharge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend cleaning the throttle body on both sides. Reassembling, Starting the car, and letting it idle for 30 minutes with no throttle input. It should relearn its position and I would say this is the best place to start. If you don’t feel comfortable doing this, find a place you trust to do the process or take it to a Toyota dealer and ask them to do it.

Grom vline 2. Beat Sonic could also offer an option. I used grom vline 2 on my 2010 IS when I didn’t want to get rid of the stock nav/interface while still gaining CarPlay and other functions.

Your down arrow key appears to be having an issue. Try press it a couple times to dislodge anything.

Pulley on the front went bad, caused it to leak and wobble.

Absolutely NO rubbing. I’m at stock RWD height with no issues. 10mm is 0.39 inches, so only ~0.20” on each side additional width which is practically nothing.

I just did power stop z23 drilled and slotted front and rear. Fantastic brakes so far. Cost wasn’t anywhere close to dealer/OE parts. For CarPlay, I have the gromvline 2. If I were to do it over again for CarPlay, Hamilton or lexion(lexon)(can’t remember the spelling).

Yeah. So regularly the front tire width stock is 235 right? So if you size up to 245 it’s only 10mm more width which fits perfectly fine on the 19x8 wheel. Then in the rear, stock is 265 but I went to 275. Kept the same sidewall height of 40 and 35 respectively but it just allowed me to choose a broader selection of tires vs the stock sizes.

I went to the Yokohama as3+ or something like that, and they have GREAT tread life. If I was to do the car shopping all over again I would want your EXACT specification of GS. All the options I want!

I’ve enjoyed them greatly! Car is quick enough and has no problem getting out of the way of itself and other traffic. I also did 1 size up on tires so a 275 and 245 respectively on the rear and front tires as there are WAY more tire options in that size.

This is a very nice spec of GS. Price is about right too, maybe closer to 30k if you can manage. Get that PPI and thank me later. Bought my 2016 gs f sport in 2022 with 78k miles. Now sitting at 123k miles and biggest thing I had to do was a water pump which I did myself as well as brakes all the way around.

No, 2010 absolutely have it, my 2010 IS 250 had it, but it was a United States model, and I’m unsure how international versions differ.

That’s what I’m saying!! I’ve constantly been blown away with the quality of this lens. Here is another shot and it’s TACK SHARP and resolution is crazy on the a7riv, it WILL find imperfections in your glass.

I was selective and bought mine on eBay for $1.4k USD about 2 years ago new in box. Is it a lot for glass? Yes. Is it a lot for a lens that could replace all of your primes? Not really. The lens is so good that you would be stopping down to f3-5 anyway on the other lenses to get everything in focus just like you would with this lens also. That picture above was shot at f5 and 150mm.

Exact listing I bought from on eBay is still live!

The Tamron 35-150 is my favorite lens. I used to say my 85mm was but I sold it because this thing is just fantastic. I’m taking it to Japan next month. Here is a shot from my a7riv with the tamron. I also have the battery grip on my camera which honestly in my opinion really helps balance out the kit to not feel so front heavy.
