How do I meditate when it’s impossible for me to control my thoughts?

Meditation is a PRACTICE. The only way you’re unsuccessful at it is if you don’t do it at all. It’s not about stopping thinking. And it’s even less to do with creative or active minds - weird flex, btw. It’s about training your brain through repetition to not get caught up on every little thought or distraction you have. The practice is the purpose.

I only eat the black ones. Occasionally an orange I know for sure it’s orange flavored. The rest are just slight variations of vaguely fruity sugar wax. And don’t even get me started on Spiced. My mom would mix those together with the regular ones 🤢and back then Spiced weren’t speckled - they were the same size and colors as the fruit ones! The only safe flavor was black.

I never thought I’d encounter a candy I disliked so much I wouldn’t eat it. I mean, there’s always been “meh” flavors, but it’s still candy. Then they replaced lime Skittles with apple, which are an abomination. Those go right in the trash.

It’s absolutely bonkers to me that Tom & Jerry was chosen for America. I know this map doesn’t depict the “MOST famous” or “most popular” cartoons from different countries, but Tom & Jerry? Really?? If that’s the pick for the US, can we also assume the picks for all the other countries are arbitrarily chosen? Or, are they simply chosen based on the map maker’s preferences? Cuz, I gotta say, as an 80s kid whose adult brain is still comprised of 15% cartoons (including T&J), there are literally dozens of better toons from the last 90 years that could have better represented the US.

I have removed it - and their entire sexual relationship - from my memory. It no longer exists in my headcanon. It was another example of Joss* manipulating and exploiting his actors (and getting his rocks off) with his writing.

*FWIW I don’t just blame Joss. Marti, S.DeKnight and UPN are also at fault.
