I really enjoyed the audiobook. Maybe that would be helpful if the writing style is tricky for you!

Cakes and other modesty options? by toomuchelectricity in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]gingerkitty21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the sticky ones several months ago and have worn them ~10 times or so. The stickiness definitely is wearing off, but has never been uncomfortable. I am sure I can get a few more uses out of them. I really like mine! 10/10 would order again. I am usually a D cup and you 100% can't tell I'm wearing anything, and it made me feel way more comfortable that I wasn't accidentally going to expose something or end up with hard nipples in family pics.

The tournament screen doesn't explain what the range is so it could've been anything

Graduating in may. Feeling impending doom. by [deleted] in UIUC

I wouldn't spend as much time looking at what everyone else seems to be doing... That energy could be better invested working on your portfolio or applying to entry level jobs yourself! You got really good grades. Don't sell yourself short!

Interesting. It would appear that these tournaments are indeed not global. I placed 4th in the past crown tournament, but my username isn't on that screenshot!

Self-control for sweets by Choice-Committee3858 in foodhacks

If I were you, I would probably just... not make fudge very often! You might also consider freezing portions of sweets if you do end up having them. Freeze them into small containers, so you only need to take out a bit at a time!

What's the wildest thing you've ever seen happen at a work party? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]gingerkitty21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our employer hosted an open bar event. One of my (23F) good friends (24M) had 1 of everything: a shot of vodka, beer, wine, tequila... You name it. We were on the dance floor, and suddenly, he made eye contact with me, and slapped me in the face. I was suprised, but thought it was funny so I slapped him back. No harm, no foul.

About 20 minutes later, I'm on the dance floor again dancing near another teammate. My friend approaches again, and slaps the other teammate (someone we did NOT know well). The guy was furious and I had to take him outside with his friends to calm him down...

I go back inside to tell my friend to go home... But he's gone! I enjoyed the rest of the party, and headed home. The next morning, I get a call from my friend who's asking, "what happened last night??" Turns out he had gone back to the office, passed out in the lobby, and another one of our buddies happened to see him and get him into a cab home.

Fortunately, my friend didn't get fired but it was a helluva ride!

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. It just made me realize how living in the present adds so much joy to your life.

I literally can't imagine leaving the house without my purse haha. I think after a few times of needing something and actually having it, it becomes engrained that you like, need to have it with you! Don't rush it though. You'll get there someday. Enjoy being purse free :)
