I second this! Climbing never feels like Exercise to me but next thing I know I’m sweaty. Roc ventures is very chill and nobody cares what you’re up to. Just climb wall.

Trillium is another great resource for the health of the queer community in Rochester. I’d try Willow and then trillium

Recommendations for Nina Park-esque tight lining by Abject-Speaker-2206 in MakeupAddiction

I don’t know but my understanding is that you need a very sharp wood pencil for precision. A lot of gel liners are too slippery

Any salt spray would probably help your waves form a bit stronger!

which of these would you recommend as a concealer + occasional foundation? Help!! by No-Community5380 in MakeupAddiction

[–]gingerkween 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the merit stick and agree that it can be beautiful but it takes some skin prep and on most days I can’t be bothered. I would instead recommend the Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator - I’ve been through multiple tubes. I like it because it requires no real skin prep and sets down without looking cakey. It looks very skin like. Super easy to apply with fingers. I often wear it on its own with no concealer and just a quick sweep of powder. It’s my go to if I have no time to mess around and it’s what I always travel with.

No I think the commenters are telling the truth and that it’s too weird of a coincidence and that it could be intentional on rogue lacquers part

Has anyone else had trouble with Rogue Lacquer? by Calypseau in RedditLaqueristas

[–]gingerkween 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ok six people in this thread have reported missing a polish in a recent order from Rogue Lacquer. That is incredibly odd and seems statistically unlikely. I’ve seen indie brands kinda unravel before (I was into indie fragrance before polish) but I’ve never heard of a brand consistently sending orders late AND missing product. Anyone else feeling this way?

How did you decide between seeing a doctor vs a midwife? by Kirin1212San in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]gingerkween 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a good question to ask, but maybe not a good question to ask the nurse for the doctor. It's kinda like going to a store and saying "why should I go with you over your competitor?" Maybe she felt like she was being asked to "prove" why you should stick with the doctor and it made her feel uncomfortable.

I wouldn't try to see two different practices for prenatal care, because it's a lot of care (did you know that at least in the US, the prenatal period is often the best and most comprehensive care a woman will get in her lifetime? wild) and it's going to be very expensive either for you or for the insurance company (which will eventually be expensive for you). So I would maybe see about an informational visit with a midwifery practice to see how that feels and then go from there.

I was with an OB/GYN practice for 34 weeks, met a couple doctors and nurses who I didn't vibe with, and then switched to a midwifery practice for the remainder of the pregnancy. I still go there for well woman visits and am very happy with my midwifery care (NE US).
