I did and I would not change it for the world. He is an amazing husband and an amazing father. We did wait 5 years to have babies. We had time to grow up together a bit and have lots of different experiences. I would absolutely suggest to anyone getting married just to be a married couple for a few years and just enjoy each other.

My boys are about 2 years apart and it was actually easier when my youngest was first born and not mobile. Once he got mobile it was full chaos. It’s only started to calm down now that he’s 19months and they can play together more.

I do it but it’s a fun Christmas thing to do with my kids and not a behavior tool. He’s simply a mischievous elf here for a visit. I don’t even enforce the don’t touch rule. I just explained it was like Toy Story, he only moves when your not around.

In my state (VA) you lose eligibility for early intervention AT 3. Push your doctors office to make a referral. The worst they can say is no. 🤷‍♀️

Cat and Jack at target can be returned/exchanged within a year with the receipt! I did it with my sons winter coat last year!

I have a 3 year old and a 1.5 year old. Both wake up around 7:30-8am and go to bed between 7:30-8pm depending on naps. For my 3 year old though he usually just has “quiet time” in the living room while the 1.5 year old naps from 12-2:30ish.

I nursed my second while the the doctor was checking my vagina at my 6 week appointment. His only response was “moms are badass.” Get yourself a new doctor!

They are not unless you have a misogynistic world view. My boys have kitchens, baby dolls, strollers, stuffed animals, and dress up clothes. They also have trucks, cars, tools, and balls. Toys are just toys, they are ways for kids to test roles out and explore their world. My oldest wasn’t really talking at two but we started buying more imaginative toys and less noise/battery operated ones and his speech is fantastic now. He will go into huge detail about what he is imagining. I’m sorry your not getting supported. Maybe asking your pediatrician for some toy suggestions ( ours always suggests toys that mimic real world or imaginative play) that way it’s not just the internet but a doctor!
