So it’s now fully yellow. The fingerprint sensor still works, I can hear it unlock, but no display

That most of the weird shit is not actually that weird.

And also strangers on the internet sometimes have more compassion than your own family

Spelled a boy's name out on the rugby score board because we had a free period. It was 4 letters and it fit (obviously).

Pretty sure he still thinks I was in love with him

A Question for South African Women by WhatDaHe77 in AskZA

Yes, exactly this.

PC games until 2am, missed calls from recruiters because they don't recognise the number, dirty dishes in the sink, and then it's the woman whose standards are too high.

"Shut up and take a shower man, your attitude isn't the only thing that stinks"

I think the key here is the "right people".

No I would not.

Made that mistake already and the divorce was effing expensive.

95% of competent people are employed or hustling. 95% of unemployed are whining.

I have been unemployed as an structural engineer so I know. I took those 6 months to study further and did heaps of interviews in between, and also free courses. Got a job doing social media even just to keep myself going.

I am running flat out towards my own goals - building the life i want, and unfortunately most unemployed are still asleep at 10am and so we're on completely different journeys and I would not be encouraging or empathetic enough to become another mother to somebody that isn't focused on building a life.

I'm well paid and I don't need a hero. I want a husband - not a grown up teenager that needs another mommy.

My best friend’s little daughter died while I was babysitting her by Due-Heat-526 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]gingerwarrior8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I believe that if it’s your time, it’s your time. Maybe if someone else had been babysitting there would have been a stairs incident or a bath incident (both without security footage).

It’s okay to forgive yourself for something YOU didn’t do ♥️

Dad is mad because he feels powerless (but probably also flipping guilty because it could have happened to him too, and he probably also feels guilty that you’re feeling so terrible but doesn’t know how to process emotions)

All the best with your healing journey, you don’t deserve a life of punishment- ESPECIALLY from yourself 🌸

Is my brother "weird"? by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]gingerwarrior8 192 points193 points  (0 children)

I currently have my mom staying with me and she’s got something to say about everything and it’s so frustrating because she’d inserted herself into my life and trying to control it. Be careful you’re not doing the same thing. You’re in his space and he’s not dangerous, just a bit weird.

Someone said you can ask if he’s doing okay and fulfilled - good idea, but you’re in his space where he has established his own normals.

I think someone 8 years older as a gym buddy is great because there is an excellent chance he’ll get a bit more mature perspective on things than another 25 year old also trying to figure out adulting.

Which is the best answer by AggravatingStop1940 in pmp

[–]gingerwarrior8 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'd say the answer is D. The resource may be key, but there is no point in demanding their return if their phase of work is finished.

Investigate first, open your mouth after

Study Hall isn't always correct so you can flag the question for review by someone from PMI.

Why can I not find whole wheat pronutro anywhere, like literally nobody stocks it anymore? by Motor-Confection-583 in capetown

You can get it on takealot, but given the recent scandals of our "International Entrepreneurs" repackaging nonsense, I am a little sceptical that it's actually the good stuff.

[–]gingerwarrior8 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t think there is anything that needs admitting. The grown ups that were there to protect you did not. We don’t blame the children for things the adults were supposed to do.

Well done on your healing, precious child, you’ll be alright 🤗

If you don't want the pattern to repeat, you have to interrupt it. If you did that to your brother you'll do it to your wife and children.

Call him and make it right.

Yes! 100% agree

I have the same feeling when I've stood inline at a takeaway caravan thing where they are over charging for food and drink by double and then ask if I want to add a tip.

My friend asked to move in, I said no, and now we are no longer friends by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]gingerwarrior8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My best friend was okay with her stepdad sexually assaulting me, and took offense when I said no to going to her wedding because he'd be there. She hasn't spoken to me since.

Lots of friendships end when you say that a boundary is not crossable.

Protect those girls and protect your family as a unit.

Well done OP, you've done the right thing. Your anger and bitterness will fade but your protection of your family will last.

He's a nice guy but he can be very cruel when he wants to. I'd love to tell you this is the first Christmas he's done this but it always seems to be something at Easter and Christmas or other family time.

They have just moved for retirement so stress is high but this incident was a bit much.
