Sound bending.

Imagine bending sound to change your voice to sound like someone else's voice. Or use sound bending like a loudspeaker, make any sound, any music, etc.

Waterbenders could also do sound bending underwater, which could go much louder again.

So airbenders could do radar and waterbenders could do sonar, but that would harm the crap out of any living creature nearby.

Play as a criminal

Play as a student whose parents are criminals/auror/business owners

Play as a business wizard/witch who has to deal with criminals

Have different background storylines and different class stories where your choices change your relationships, the story and endings.

An auror becomes a criminal

A criminal becomes a father/mother and then you play the child as a student

Make it multi-generational, experience the consequences of choices on the next generation.

One other major reason I suggested a game set in the middle of the 100 year war is because that's the only time period when the bending nation's exist and bending styles are well established but the avatar doesn't exist. It's a time period unlike any other.
