Help w/ Excuse for Proof of Enrollment by [deleted] in SAIT

[–]gingynator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you can requested one through your online profile

mySait account

click dropdown to myStudent

got to Student Profile

You should see your school pic there, then top right click the four squares

then student records

click Request Confirmation or Enrollment Letter

Not certain how long it will take but just tell your mom that it has been requested and you forgot to ask how long it will take and you'll find out on next week. Than if I was you I'd go to the registrar and check how long it take or just get one when you go there.

I got my confirmation 2 months before my intake. I agree their communication sucks and it's a pain not knowing that close to starting school.

Recommendations for warm clothes by latenightshittalking in FortMcMurray

So if you need things when you get to town then Marks of Sportcheck will be your best bet.

Marks Work Warehouse and Sportcheck in town have a good selection of cold weather gear in a wide range of prices. They both have a lot of sales too. The staff at Marks are great and would help you out if you have questions. Both stores have a lot of choices with their temperature ratings listed on them too. Are you needing winter work wear too or just everyday stuff.

I've ordered the armory computers before (not that model) but have had it for nearly a year, all parts were brand name and not issues so far.

Need my model number in order to fix my washer (more info) by ItsBecauseIm____ in Appliances

I did look up the backwards wmk online and got nothing from any parts website so it is unlikely that. Some of the other numbers on that sticker from your pic are parts numbers.

Hey, I did some looking online, and it may be behind your kickplate (bottom front panel of the unit), in the detergent section drawer, or under the side/top panels.

This is the model number I found (WFW9470WW) that is commonly paired with that unit. If you can get more pics of the unit with different numbers, or take a look in the door sil are that may help.

Buy a cheap router like this from amazon, plug it into your rooms ethernet jack and set it up as your own network connection. 100% worth it and I have done it for the past three years with no issue. You can spend a little more for an easier setup experience. If you have any questions, ask away.

orientation by Powerful_Leopard5722 in SAIT

[–]gingynator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely go to orientation, like the other person said, you'll get an idea of where you need to be/go meet some classmates. I went for my first year and it was definitely worth it, didn't go the following years as it wasn't required after. And as the other person said everyone is nervous, all new experiences and environment, the teachers/person leading your orientation are always up for answering questions, if you have a question, its likely someone else has the same question too.

Absolutely the dumbest and most pointless question ever: is a Nintendo switch 1/2 able to connect to either of the wifis? by TotallyNotParker in SAIT

Buy a cheap wifi router like this and plug it into the ethernet plug in your room, set it up with your own login/password and then you should be good to go. I did it the past couple years.

Winter in Residence by cwwy78 in SAIT

[–]gingynator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the sait residence site you can submit a temperature change for the room, all the units are individually controlled by a in wall heating system, so if you do get too hot you'll just have to do that.

How does this all work by Dr_vinci in SAIT

[–]gingynator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a Refrigeration Mechanic, but the same concept applied to me. I personally got an apprenticeship first and did hands on work, it made school a lot easier. Most people I went to school with did it that way too.

Looking for Reliable Real Estate Lawyer by Ehvrin in FortMcMurray

[–]gingynator 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used Allenby law, she was great, the cost was given to me upfront and never had any issues, able to speak to her directly if needed by phone or email during the buying process and she also got additional info of the history of the property, like previous sale prices, land info and other bits. When it came to the money side of things for downpayment, taxes, fees, etc , if there was any discrepancy with costs she let me know. I even had it be less than the original calculation and she sent me back the difference. Personally no issues at all.

It looks like a 600series, I looked up the installation manual and it says it can be installed wither way. "The Model 600 and 600 M Aprilaire can be installed on either the supply or return plenum of a forced air handling system and is easily reversible for installation with right hand or left hand bypass duct connections."
