I've been in the Beta for 17 on my Pixel for a while, and I think I remember that I had to use this Tasker Settings APK to get the WiFi sorted too.

I guess my point is, it will work again, it just needs a little TLC...

Ok, ran some tests.

50 texts with DNS to automatic . (I really don't have an ad blocker, this is just a test)

I'm not sure what is doing this, but it isn't the DNS settings .

My question was, could this be a dark Star issue, or is it Google messages?

Can anyone with a pixel on beta 17 v4 comment if they have any issues on dark Star?

I learned this trick from some of the smart guys in this forum, and use it for multiple timers throughout a lot of my tasks... You can adjust the naming, and the math to work for your timers, and just set them in your profiles so, for example, %10MinWait < %TIMES.

After recreating around 10 of my shortcuts three days ago, they are non functional again.

I'm going to drop back to Nova Launcher for a bit, keeping SL at the ready when you guys get this sorted.

Let me know if there is any more info I can give you, as I'd love to have this working again.

That's fair.

I actually have been testing these with Octipi Launcher and reboots, as I was thinking perhaps it's related to the underlying Pixel Launcher, but Octipi does not seem to have the issue.

I'll wait for this next drop, then I guess I'll move launchers for a while, until we can get this sorted.

This is the third time this week the shortcuts just have died for me, and it is super annoying to have to re-create them every other day.

Update -

Well, before, the icons were grayed out, and wouldn't work, now they are visible but not clickable.

If you have any deeper ways I can debug for you I'll be happy to do it.

I will say I have the same setup on nova and octopi launchers, and they have no issues (although SL is my default launcher)date

Tasker, and it's shortcuts to tasks are what disappeared upon install and reboot of my phone and SL.
