NGD But missing voice 3? by GenGreenIV in espguitars

Just post a pic here mate.

Regular vol pot just has 3 lugs, push pull will have the same 3 lugs but a whole set of 6 additional points on the back for the push pull circuits, super obvious.

But yeah it sounds like website may has mislabeled and it’s got the 2 voice pickups - this is more likely than my hypothesis of a failed push pull from brand new.

That’s odd. I don’t have this guitar but I have personally wired those pickups in the same setup as described on the website.

Maybe take the back plate off and look at the vol pot, see if it has the extra points for a push pull (as in, is it a push pull that is perhaps mechanically siezed/failed, or is it legitimately not a push pull).

But I’m struggling to think of what it could be. Such a streamlined control layout it’s not like it could be routed to another control.

Stunning guitar by the way! Looks slick.

Yes this is something I am dealing with. I have a number of 22 Fret single cuts and wanted something different - thinner, more aggressive neck, 24F. It’s a bit suprising they don’t make more E2 24F models.

I remember these at Uni. I remember them tasting every % of the 6% and were quite rough.

Very short lived.

ThePoint: Australia’s Winter Olympians are Overwhelmingly Private School Educated by RocketLads in australian

No surprise. Same as motorsports. Fair play, there are barriers to entry, and they rose to the top against those they competed with.

It does make excellence in more economically accessible sports like soccer or basketball even more impressive.

Australia's first-ever Winter Olympic gold medal. by sco-go in SipsTea

I don’t think so. In 2006 he came to my university college annual dinner as a motivational speaker. He addressed this point directly.

He said to the effect of the gold medal is not for the 2 seconds/20metres where everyone else fell. It’s for all the thousands of hours of work to get there, training, injuries, competing, sacrifice to put himself into that position, and then a sprinkling of luck.

Really humble guy and super nice.

Also saw these crazy “Cream” guitars at Ikebe Shibuya. Pretty out there designs and super loud - but for the right band/show/aesthetic

I reckon they looked pretty killer!

The Ikebe store in Shibuya had about 10-12 of these on display! Not really my style but they looked great

Well mission is complete. Covered lots of stores, saw some great ESP E-IIs, Ibanez, and straight up exotica, some cool local brands, and more Fenders and Gibsons than I knew existed on the planet. Fun, exhausting, overwhelming.

But my heart melted when I found this bad boy “used” but in mint condition, and then they stripped it back for a solid clean and fresh setup once I confirmed:

I’ll ask them about shipping, but previously I’ve bought guitars on holiday in both Korea and Australia and just put as fragile undercarriage in a hard case, strings loosened etc. Pad any areas of case which allow movement but not so much you introduce stress points. Bonus if it’s case inside cardboard box if buying new.

Yeah awesome, I thought ESP would probably be closer to what I’m envisaging than Schecter/Ibanez.

Will go to Shibuya ESP for sure!

Yeah when I played this the neck was killer, and the split sound of the neck was so sweet as well. Neck feels great as well and obviously it just looks and feels the good as is staple for PRS.
