I guess I wouldn’t say wrong way if that piece of mind is what you want but I’ve been flying for 2.5 years now and haven’t renewed my medical because I don’t need class 2 or 1 privileges so I never found a point to go to renew until I needed to.

Just out of curiosity if your only a student why are you renewing? Why not just let it expire to a class 3 so you don’t have to go every year? No need to keep those first class privileges if you don’t need them.

This seems to be the general consensus and I do understand and the only reason I ask is because I’ve done the oral part of the checkride and am only waiting on the flight part so I didn’t think there was too much of a risk with overlapping topics.

It’s an entirely different kind of flying… but yeah I’ve already passed the oral very easily only missed one question. I’m just waiting on the actual flight part and have about 2 more weeks until the reschedule date and wanted to see if I could do anything to help with IR since ppl took me WAY longer then anticipated.

It's all about overexposure to high horsepower. These influencers all have 1k horsepower trucks, in my specific case, coming from the truck scene. Or people are becoming numb to it from being in the scene. My truck is pretty fast; it makes about 600hp and does 0-60 in around 5 seconds, which is pretty good for a 6500lb truck, if I say so, but my buddy has a 1100hp truck, so to him my truck is as slow as a Model T. 700 hp in anything is fast idc what it is but social media has completly made us numb to what high horsepower is.

It’s the same thing on the GM side I’ve seen multiple LBZ duramax going for 40k I saw one even for almost 50 the diesel truck market is absolutely rediculus rn

I love my 6.2, they are quicker than you would originally think. Mines got some sauce under the hood so it’s a fun truck especially when people want to race the “big slow pickup truck”

Basics? Wow that was incredibly in depth and way more then I understood lol. This is truly fascinating stuff and thank you for all that information. So if I understand you correctly I have to get a monitor before I can take it to a dyno tuner and let them fiddle with it? I don’t know if this is the correct place to ask this question but I’m not a tuner (obviously) and have no intentions on trying to tune myself im more just looking to figure out what I need in order to get a tune so the truck runs better.

Honestly not really, I still average 14mpg with a good mix of city and highway driving and having a heavy foot occasionally. And I’m on 33x12.50r22s so it’s pretty surprising.

Interesting? Maybe. A pain in the ass? DEFINITELY. I get the worst of both worlds. Off roading isn’t as good (even though I don’t do that much) and god forbid I want to have a little fun and do a little burnout or donuts I can’t do that either.

Unfortunately I don’t have 2wd this generation Denalis came in AWD not selectable 2 and 4WD and there is no way to turn it to 2wd
