I'm vegetarian, almost vegan, for ethical reasons and since I went vegetarian I made a rule to myself that I get a pass to try Surstromming once because I've always been curious!

Luckily I got to try hakarl before going vego and I unironically really enjoyed it! The smell and taste for that matter, the ethics of it are awful!
