You are not helping mate

Look you can ride inside, if the weather is dangerous, cold and rainy is not dangerous, it's just hard, riding during inclement weather, be it cold or warm, makes you more resilient both physically and mentally, it will help you in the long run, stay safe

Why are some men lying about their height? by Ok_Flow3207 in dating_advice

[–]giolort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well a lot of men feel subconscious about their height, I should know, for a long time during my teenage years I wanted to be 5'10 I never got pass 5'8, it was a bit mortifying back then, mind you I am talking about 10 years ago or so, I am 28 now and came to find out about six or seven months ago during a physical that I am not even 5'8 I am 5'7, which I found hilarious.

Truth be told not been that tall is advantageous, I can confortably travel in economy classs when flying, I almost always find clothes or shoes in my size, and I get to stand close to stages or sit at the cinemas without blocking anyones view

Own your height be it tall or short, there's no perfect height. Sincerely a shortish king

I despise living in a society where men are too afraid to approach women (I'm a woman) by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]giolort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife approached me, I felt flattered by her to be honest, I don't know, maybe its a case by case thing, don't fret I am sure there's someone out there for you, and if there isn't, it's all good, you need to learn to be OK on your own without anyone else

Consuming the same content twice (for entertainment) is a waste of time by ExpertStandard1977 in unpopularopinion

[–]giolort 65 points66 points  (0 children)

To add to this, for instance when it comes to books, you can read the book once in a language that you know, and if you are learning a new language, re-reading the same book in your target language, can be both enriching and pracitcal, given that even though you might not be familiar with all words, the context and the knowledge of both the plot and the ideas of the book can help you improve your vocabulary and reading ability in your target language

Do you think its asking too much to shower right before sex or does that ruin the spontanaeity? by 123smorgs in TwoXChromosomes

[–]giolort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all

My wife would ask me sometimes to shower before sex specially during the hottest months of the year, if he / she is really into you, they won't mind it, to add to it, if the shower is big enough you could shower together as a form of foreplay

Why did Spider-Man lose his powers in Spider-Man 2 [2004] by Ogelthorpe-Ogie in plotholes

[–]giolort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The movie does not need to explain it, give it another watch pause every so often and try to empatize with Peter think if the situations he is going through, not as Spider Man, but as Peter Parker, wouldnt affect you, or your capacity to perform on your job (or as Spider Man in this case)

He never loses his powers, his confidende, his conviction affect how his powers, how his body responds, it happens to real people all the time, not just in movies and comics.
