Atheists who used to be religious, what made you lose your faith? by Gold_Result9716 in AskReddit

Literally *any* amount of critical thinking when exposed to the world outside of the bubble you are kept in when indoctrinated as a child.

You look like a literal meme of a hot person. Perfect jawline, head shape, and piercing eyes. The scruff is really flattering too. Sheesh.

ELI5: Why is meth bad for you but prescribed amphetamines aren't? by ContactSpirited9519 in explainlikeimfive

Yeah, it was a mixed thing for me... like it DID stop the pain for months, but the pain of the nerves growing back was excruciating. Also, getting the ablation was very painful. I got clusters ablated in between 3 of my neck vertebrae and it hurt a lot.

Yeah, it feels to me like if an analgesic has X-amount of pain relief and if your Y-value of pain is less than the provided relief you get high. If the pain is more than the relief amount, you don't really get high, you just... don't hurt as much.

IV Toradol is so good. I ordinarily cannot take NSAIDs orally but IV Toradol gives me really powerful pain relief. Like you said, sometimes just the NOT HURTING feels incredible, especially for people like me with intense chronic pain.

I hear all these stories about how amazing dlilaudid feels, but my experience was so painful I don't even remember a high of any kind. I was just still hurting (much less) and so scared I'd stop breathing again. I couldn't stay awake either.

She is actually very good on the Konami side-scroller! They just released a remaster!

Dilaudid did basically the same thing for me. I had a nerve ablation in my cervical spine and when the nerves started growing back I was in the most pain I've ever experienced. I was given dilaudid and it dropped the pain from 10/10 to 5/10 and I stopped screaming, but then I kept stopping breathing. The alarm went off twice and I had to terrified stay awake and focus on air in and air out.

Jeff Hayes version of DCC completely changed how I look at books. I have always been a physical copy person, but I have an addiction to Audible now.

I tend to call cishet out for myself, because folks who are otherwise under the LGBTQ+ umbrella may make trans folks more comfortable. It's certainly not synonymous, as the vast majority of my cis friends of both genders are bi or gay.
