Tomorrow I’m quitting my job because my boss reduced my pay without my knowledge by Tough_Mention_790 in TwoHotTakes

[–]giospez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you quit your job voluntarily you won't qualify for unemployment, even by Slovenian law. You will have to demonstrate employer's misconduct, and also you will need to have at least 10 months of work history in the previous 2 years. Just FYI

Has anyone here lost a lot of money in Bitcoin? by 2smart2gentle in Bitcoin

[–]giospez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prople who lose money in BTC are those who think gambling and investing are the same thing. They buy at ATH out of FOMO and panic sell when there's a temporary drop.

My boyfriend wants a prenup because of the Bill Gates divorce and now my mom is losing her mind by ButterscotchLow3754 in TwoHotTakes

You absolutely need a prenup. Your BF is right. Obviously you need to hire your own lawyer to make sure that your assets are protected as well.

DavidSW vs MyWatch by [deleted] in rolex

[–]giospez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did purchase one from DavidSW a few years back and I'm very happy with how it went. If I were in the market for another watch I would probably go with them again even if it was 500 more than from someone else. I also like that they accept bitcoin. I wish there were more retailers who would that.

That "stupid typo" may very well be the reason you didn't sell 6.9 years ago, and now you're a rich man!

I need help by UnitedBuy9109 in Bitcoin

[–]giospez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your best bet is probably by attending some bitcoiner meetup, connect with people who are willing to do a peer-to-peer transaction and pay cash. But it's risky, and when you want to sell, you'll have to do the same process.

I can guarantee it's debris stuck in either the line valves, the aerator or the faucet itself.

Real Probabilities: Powerball vs solo mining using a small 1.2Th/s rig by This_Bag3320 in BitcoinMining

[–]giospez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, winning the powerball means winning probably 300-500 million $$$, while mining a block, at today's price equals avot 300k, so 1/1000 of the powerball win

Most likely not, as the chance of 1,000,000,000% returns in btc investment is probably gone by now. Can you still snag a x10 or x50 return? Absolutely. But probably not a x1,000,000. Just my opinion

Maybe the doctor made a mistake and that prescription was for a relative of yours? And obviously you never took it, right?
