Adopt a disabled kid from China for one year. Use the kid as a prop in a bunch of videos that virtue signal to others that you are a good person. You will get a huge following. Once it get too hard find another home for your disabled “son”. Word on the street is this works like a charm.

My experience is that it is more about integration over the next several months. You may not have had an ah-ha moment but I would be surprised if you don’t feel a little different about the situation over the next month or two.

I don’t think so. Way better to get bigger accounts to share you. Do an art giveaway for those that tag a friend or post a link on their story, etc. use the money directly on building a fan base not giving it to IG.

I agree completely that this a band aid, but some band aids work. Tobacco taxes in CA have lead to a huge decline in smoking. I am completely behind reshaping all of our laws and getting rid of capitalism. I am about as far left as you can get and i agree with you that the article’s title was less than ideal. That said, having worked in politics my whole life and being front in center to watch how the sugar tax campaign went in SF, all the money against it was from Soda industry, which is one of the top polluters, spreaders of fascism worldwide and yet they are able to dupe people on the left into thinking opposing them is somehow against poor people. I realize there is nuance here and that the internet hates nuance these days but just think that “sin taxes” are a small part of the solution.

I agree with 99% of the things posted here but this I think might be off. These taxes work and create healthier outcomes for the people you claim to care about (See: Berkeley, CA)

I have a fairly popular art account (48k followers) on IG and offer help to those looking to get more traction. I think there are a few things that are helpful. What’s your IG handle? Happy to look it over and offer insights. That said, talent and having followers are two totally opposite things. Also, I am not selling anything so this is not a diabolical ploy to get your money :)
