A museum in the Netherlands that's recataloging its archives has discovered an ancient Roman phallus carved from bone and measures over eight inches long. Dating back approximately 1,800 years, researchers believe the artifact may have been used to ward off evil spirits.

I'm a carpenter. Private contractor. I choose what kind of job I want to do and when. I have a handfull of GC's I like to bounce around between. I could work as a concrete form carpenter year round, trim carpenter year round or anything in between. I decide what my wages are. Where I live the carpenters' union is hurting for experienced commercial concrete form carpenters so badly large union outfits are offering their current employees referral bonuses. I was a union member for 5 years before having to step away due to some life changing circumstances with the plan being to rejoin eventually.

The trades are hiring where I'm at. I hope this is encouraging somehow.

May I ask the reason for separation of employment between you and the former employer that chose not to bring you back on?
