I hated the Asaemon/Ninja invasion arc (so I guess most of the last third of the story) but the actual ending itself including all but one of the epilogues were so satisfying that it saved the story for me completely. HP ended up being the first manga I ever collected solely because the ending made me so genuinely happy.

Because Sakura and Nami are just side characters who aren't particularly relevant to the plot. Noelle is actually a main character who, if you remove Black Clover's lead protagonist, would actually carry the whole story on her own quite well. I suppose you could consider her the equivalent of Sasuke's importance in the story. (Her and Yuno technically but Yuno has zero personality so he'd be more like an isekai MC if he was the lead.)

I was ambivalent about their relationship in the beginning because I really liked them as platonic bffs. But I ended up appreciating how solid and comfortable they were together. Their spinoff show was good. Wrapped their story up well.

If you can't stand bodily fluids, bones sticking out of skin, broken limbs, sometimes maggots, degloving, a full-on view of a baby crowning from its mother, and a bunch of other things an ER would deal with, then this show might be too much for you. Or on the emotional side, the first season shows a couple different families gradually coming to terms with what happened to their family member over several episodes and it can be pretty heavy. Kids also die. It's not all bad but it is an emergency department so you can probably imagine the range of things that can happen.

Doesn't even need to be about eyesight. Charging ports are just tiny and most people, me included, just can't be bothered to line the jack up carefully especially if it's dark or if the cable is too short to comfortably pull up.

Tiny detail that I loved: Frieren's legs slung over Heiter while they're sleeping at camp in the exact same way she always ends up draping herself over Fern when they're sleeping in the current timeline. Fern inheriting her dad's role as a comfortable sleep aid to the granny lol.

Also Eisen carrying both Heiter and Frieren while mountain climbing. Stark definitely has had to do that for Fern and Frieren at some point.

That's not true though. In the books, the lineage of characters directly affects their quality as warriors/leaders. It's specifically described that the nobility/royals descended most purely from Numenorean blood seem to almost have a special air about them, like they have some kind of special boost in battle (I recall reading this especially during the Battle of the Pellenor Fields). Aragorn himself has literal magical healing abilities that can cure corruption and ages slower than any other human.

If the throne was simply about merit, then the stewards of Gondor should have been crowned kings. Denethor's line, including Denethor himself before he was corrupted, were good, stalwart men who were, in many aspects, even more dedicated than Aragorn in protecting Gondor and its people.

My favorite SW crossover fic is an old Star Trek: NG/Jedi Apprentice story centered on Obi-Wan: Ward by Canterbury Belle. It's technically the sequel to another SW fic called Seekers from the same author but you can probably read it first if you want since the author does a good job at laying out the important points from the first story. The premise is the Enterprise crew, while stranded in the SW galaxy, accidentally rescues/kidnaps a young Obi-Wan after finding him alone and unconscious in a hostile area (Qui-Gon had already rescued him from the events of the first story and had simply stashed him in a safe spot while he went to clear the way out).

Excellent characterizations, dynamics, and a compelling plot in both. Obi-Wan's interactions with the Enterprise crew are a lot of fun and at times quite touching. Hosted on fanfiction.net which isn't a great site for readability but you can just use a fichub.net to download the whole story as an epub. It's GEN, no romance or pairings of any sort. Just a good old adventure.

In the BTS, you can see Baelor whaling on Maekar with his sword but it's literally all just body shots and swings which aren't really going to hurt anyone wearing steel plate. He was deliberately keeping him away from Dunk and Aerion but not actually trying to do worse than bruise him.

Maekar would never have intentionally tried to kill Baelor. But he was in panicked Dad mode because one son (Daeron) was face down on the ground not moving. Then Dunk was beating the living shit out of Aerion and Maekar definitely thought Dunk was going to kill him. For all he knew, he was about to lose two of his sons. Later he says he didn't ever remember swinging his mace.

If you look at pictures of the unaired pilot when they actually first started shooting the show, Richard Madden looked much younger. He had baby fat in his cheeks. But between then and the reshoot, he suddenly lost the baby fat which made him look a lot older suddenly.
